Ah Yes, "mayors"
The town/city-level elected officials allegedly coming together to determine how to serve their people on a state level.
We have dismissed that claim.
If I were just two or three months and got my permit as such, I'd have a license, could get into a car and drive to the only game store in the area that sells physical copies of Mass Effect 2(Everyone else has gone to downloads as far as what's nearby), which happens to be a far enough distance that negotiation of favours and such - Something I'm annoyed, but fine to wait a bit more to avoid stooping to - is required for anyone to drive me there, return home, and finally play a sequel people have told me is an improvement in what is already an immensely awesome game.
However because enough morons my age happened to decide to try and text or call someone while driving and got their comeuppance in the form of an accident(I've ranted on this many times, I have no intent to become a hypocrite on this matter), the aforementioned politicians have increased the time before I can get a license as well as making the test more difficult, which frustrates me both since now I have to wait longer to get a copy of ME2, I have to wait longer to get a license, and I can't say on any applications that I can transport myself to work, which is a big deal as far as jobs a minor can get go.
I detest being falsely generalized.
