Bionicle Media Center

Okay. This is epic. Very epic.

With all the free time on my hands, I decided to try and code some things which I havn't messed with before.

For instance, a media center.

The flash episodes (with working scripts), the ghost animations, vahki animations, and whatever games I can get working. This will be epic.

btw, yes, I do have working 2002-2003 episodes, which are not protected.

Sounds cool.

What do you mean by "not protected?"

On the episodes that Crystal Matrix distributed, if oyu moved them from one comp to another, they wouldn't play because of some swf protection.

Ah.

Say, I'd be willing to test this "BMC" if you wanted.

If it needs testing, sure. ;)

It'll be a while though...

Flash episodes, ghost animations, games (possibly), comics, webserials... ugh

By games, do you mean the MNOLGs, VNOLG, Huai Snowball Sling, Battle for Mata-Nui, etc?

I can easily include MNOLG 1 (I think), the kinks in the newest version MNOLG 2 offline would need to be fixed for me to include it - I can include anything that is working and running on Bionicle's website tho. :D

If you could include MNOLG2, could you do it so that it saves for Macs and saves without XAMPP?

I am going to try to - it won't need XAMPP since my server has PHP5 - the main thing is that since it is a php server, all file references must be perfect, and in the offline mnolg 2, the file references are really weird, with caps where they're shouldn't be, etc.

That would certainly be useful, Wil. Everything you need all in one place! :D

Excellent! I hope you get it running. :)

I finished getting all of the 2008 serials up (locally hosted, if they are taken down from Lego's servers).

The games are coming, I'm going to contact Bink and see if it is possible for a working version of MNOLG 2 to replace the broken one on their servers - I can embed it in our page then, and the save would work. :D

They could use Biomaniac's. It works, for all intents and purposes. Not that many glitches.

I have it on my server - but, the file references are messed up on PHP servers because of file paths and references which have caps where they shouldn't, etc. Anyway, LEGO is sure to have a backup, and if they don't, Templar (or whoever made it) would probably have a backup for portfolio purposes.
