Okay. I normally try not to complain about the sets, but I can't resist here.

I hate them.

Well, thats a bit strong.

I dislike them.

First off, they have a strange Knights Kingdom feel to them which I dislike.

Also, once again, to a large extent, they are clones!

The small sets are pretty much just re-colors of the avatoran (entry on the conjugation of prefix+matoran coming soon ), and the canister sets use the inika skeleton again.

On the mocing side of things, I see myself getting much of these.

The return of tan is wonderful, plus light-blue.

The re-colors will also be great for mocing.

Keetorange and metru-blue feet, lime green blades, feet, etc... A black Brutaka blade, tan piraka feet, gold inika should armor and thigh armor.... tish nice.

I don't like the new hand pieces, they just don't fit my taste.

My main complaint is that the masks don't work with the current mask style. I was hoping that in computer terms, it would be cross-compatible.

On to the blow by blow (it blows).

Atakus - meh. Avatoran clone - a face only a mother could love.

Berix - meh. Nice recolors, the tahu mata sword and feet would be nice to have.

Gresh - meh. A bit to Knights Kindomy for me. Once again, the re-colors could be put to use. Did anyone notice that the hand piece in the shield is one of the pre-2008 ones? These were designed a while back.

Malum - *shudders*

Metus - meh. Colors could be useful.

Raanu - meh. The blades and feet could be put to use.

Skrall - IMO, worse than Malum. Reminds me of Vladek.

Strakk - meh. the head and armor are impractical for mocing, and I don't see any good re-colors.

Tarix - A bit too Knights Kingdom, but all the same, gold re-colors plus mata blue feet = om nom nom.

Tuma - not sure what to think. The re-colors are good, the face is fugly. It's a run-of-the-mill titan.

Vorox - TANTANTANTANTAN!!!

Zesk - Avatoran clone. But, TAN!
