My First Lego Set Ever.

And I'm not even sure what it was called. I've had it since I was, oh, probably 2 or 3.

It stored Lego pieces of all sorts inside of it, and when you were done playing, you'd run the device pictured along the ground and it would scoop up the pieces. The mechanism that did so is in picture number three.

Without "lid".

"Vacuum" part.

Can anyone tell me what this is and maybe how much the whole thing is worth?

Its obviously a parrot immage. Its basically a lego vaccum from what you described. If it were up to me, i'd pay about 10-20 dollars for it.

I had a similar scooper-roller-sweeper thingymabob back in the day, only mine was red and rounded both on the top and the bottom in front. And of course no awesome parrot details.

Anywho, this would be the set, and this would be the part.

A similar site to Peeron, which regrettably cannot be linked from BZP since it has message boards, cites a past sale of this brick-vac at $15. Currently on the same site these are up for sale at prices ranging between $11 and $30, but I'd say you'd be safest to expect between $15 and $25 if you plan to sell.

Remember, kids, Peeron is your friend. =D

Ah, thank you very much for that information. Anyone else here have it?
