Sickness

For the first time in quite a long time, I've come down with some illness. I don't think it's the popular swine flu, mostly because I haven't been running a fever. I have, however, been having drainage down the back of my throat, as well congested sinuses. I woke up at 4 AM today coughing my lungs out. I ended up vomiting for the first time in years. I was also sweating like a pig.

Needless to say, I skipped my one class today and stayed in bed for the majority of the afternoon. Hopefully I'll be much better before a friend of mine arrives in town tomorrow (he's staying at my house for the weekend). We also have a concert Saturday that I'd rather not miss. It's going to be a great time. Helping with this venue has been incredible amounts of fun.

Also, WHO ATE ALL THE COOKIES 'N' CREAM? D:

Sounds infectiony. Bad tooth perhaps?

I had that happen in 2002 when I cracked a tooth... just got up from a nap, felt hot, sweaty and "odd"... then was like, "WOAH MOMMA WHERE'S THE PORCELAIN?!?"

Enough coughing can cause vomiting, unless you were coughing then you vomited a while later.

Sorry, I just like studying medicine.. :P

I had my wisdom teeth taken out in early August. I've been cleaning the cavities (where they pulled the teeth from) out on a regular basis so it shouldn't have been that.

Sounds like the drainage in your throat may have caused you to have a pretty bad gag reflex while you were sleeping. Action potentials (the messages from brain/nerves to other places) don't stop even while you sleep, so you coughed then vomited as a result.

I'm not diagnosing you; I'm simply stating a likely case of what happened. (I kinda needed to say that, so I don't get charged for practicing without a license. Lol..)

This is pretty much what I figured/what my mom told me too. ;)

But I got better!
