I like this idea; this would finally put the EMK to good use. The only problem I can see is Undeath, as all of those Makuta are dead, yet we see no Unedeath zombies.

Well, since the Makuta became antidermis, the MoU would have become unneeded; the Makuta who wore it could then pick another Kanohi.

I speak on behalf of one of the creators of those EMK: I do not like this idea.

In theory, those masks were designed, not for Makuta, but for immoral characters. Think along the lines of a rogue group of Toa. None of them are anywhere near powerful enough for a Makuta. On top of that, there's far better ideas for those Makuta in general.

 

And if you wish to get MORE technical, Scavenging was already used by Vultraz, and why would a Makuta need a Mask of Undeath? The mask itself causes the body to become a zombie to complete its task until it no longer has any energy left to use.

 

If you wish for more, I can go on.
