I have a character in the BZPRPG being held captive by the Ta-Koro guard for questioning, how much damage is he allowed to cause to the guard in order to escape?
None immediately, as that would be autohitting. As is described in the rules, you may start an escape. The reaction to that escape will be handled either by PCs in the area, or NPCs controlled by me.
