  1. So, if you've noticed, the Masks of Power are rather bland. There's a Mask of Fire, Water, Jungle, etc. etc. But then there's the Masks of Creation and Control, which aren't elemental. So, here's my theory. Other teams of Masters have different mask abilities. The Protectors all probably have the "noble" form of a certain type of mask (perhaps this gen's equivalent of a Kanohi Hau) and the Golden Masks each contain different mask abilities akin to those of the original masks (though I'd assume that the Golden Jungle and Golden Water masks don't have levitation and water-breathing, since Lewa can already fly and I'll bet you that Gali can already breathe underwater) When Wave 2 comes out with whatever new Toa we'll be seeing, they'll probably go back to whatever mask they were using in Gen 1. I suppose the only reason to have an elemental mask is to enhance your natural powers. What do you think?
  2. I'll throw my hat into the LEGO bin. Earth, Iron (and all metal, really) and Stone should be merged into Earth (because all these elements make up the lithosphere) and given to Onua, Lewa should get Jungle and Pohatu should get Air. Plasma, as an element, should be regarded as any plasma that ISN'T fire. But that's just my idea.
  3. IC: "Well, thanks." Halyx knew something was up, but brushed it off as a baseless hunch. "Say, have you heard of any missing Ta-Matoran in the past couple of days?" OOC: I haven't seen MoL in a while, but didn't most of the Matoran and Toa in that film have English accents? Also, what kind of British accent does Guvla have? English, Scottish, Cockney? I'll assume English, but it'd be funny to hear a Bionicle character go "Oi, me mask's bun knocked uff by a blimey Bow-rock!" Also, here's my plot engine; Amnesia. Cliche, yes, but effective.
  4. IC: "Uh... Halyx. Toa of... Fire, I think." Halyx noticed the distrust in this Toa's eyes. Hopefully she wouldn't try anything fishy. "Who are you?" OOC: Thanks, Grimlock!
  5. IC Halyx: After two days of walking, Toa Halyx finally made his way to Ta-Koro. Upon entering the city, he began wandering about looking for clues to his identity. The city was unfamiliar to him, yet seemed like a distant memory. A flash went through his head of working in a forge, the heat, the blistering heat... Halyx felt a small sense of comfort in such a fire. OOC: Any ideas as to what I should do?
  6. Firstly, thanks to Luroka for the spoiler tag. Secondly, to Mate, my computer is a serious lemon. If it had to simulate physics as well as render pieces... Oh, god, the Matoran-ity! Thirdly, to Minifig, the reason it's on it's back legs is because I couldn't fit those things next to the arms, so I stuck them behind it. This thing is supposed to be a serious prototype, so that's why it's so incomplete and primitive. I'll update later with the mk.2 prototype, which has MOVING GEARS!!! Admittedly, said gears are rather decorative and the actual action is controlled by a single lever that moves both arms in the same direction, but I'll save proper gear motion for the mk.3 edition. I just need to fix up the colors and then I'll work on the mk.3.
  7. OOC: Thanks, UltimoScorp. IC Halyx: As Halyx approached the cliff, he noticed a large telescope. Peering into it, he saw a strange red light in the sky. Upon closer inspection, lightning struck Halyx, turning his salvaged gear into a golden firesword and shield, both of far better quality than before. As Halyx inspected his new equipment, he noticed the red star was missing. Instead of doing the logical thing and questioning this mysterious star, Halyx decided to continue heading towards the city in the distance.
  8. IC: "Gah..." Halyx muttered to himself. He woke up on a beach with no memory. Finding an old sword and shield, along with a strange pocket watch with the world Halyx written on it, he decided to head for the large skyline. Well, he would, if he could figure out this whole "walking" thing. OOC: Here I am! Open for interaction!

  10. Here's the gist; A new Makuta is invading an island called Vesoh Nui. The Toa Nuva are Turaga now, and the Toa Mahri are missing. But, when all seems lost, a new Toa team arrives to kick Makuta behind. Unfortunately, a new colonial government from beyond the stars is arriving and they don't seem to care for the Matoran. (In actuality, this was so I could use some HF pieces that don't work with Bionicle themes.) I'll update this list whenever I can. Until then, here ya' go. Prototype Guardian mk.1 Prototype Guardian mk.1 Piece count: 46 pieces Description: Built by the colonists from Hero Factory as a weapon to use against the Matoran, the Prototype Guardian is based on the bio-mechanical tech found on the remains of several fallen Toa. Equipped with two protosteel claws and a backwards-engineered Kanohi Hau, this prototype was SUPPOSED to be a great weapon. However, because of the sloppy engineering techniques used by Hero Factory, the prototype went rogue and started trying to defend the people of Spherus Magna.
