  1. Yes, but just getting into that 2200 league makes a world of difference in terms of opportunity. Personally I don't think that the SAT should be so important for college as it is, but since it is I must do my best if I wish to become what I want to be.Also, Fire & Ice, why do you not wish to go to college?
  2. IC: [3-29, Abjiost. Master of Mind Lojekek]The emissary group had landed on the surface, and was on their way to the chamber of the Assembly of the Undertaking. Lojekek looked around at the gathered thousand of minds, each occupying a niche in the lower half of the massive spherical room. The top half swirled with data and graphs and tables and images, and each of the representatives were in discussion about blueprints for a project they dubbed the 'Ark of Aeons'. Looking to a sparsely seated portion of the chamber, Lojekek decided that with this news a new area of study must be made, that of the understanding and study of alien life."The Assembly will commence, and commit to silence." At that, the talking stopped, and the graphs and charts flew away on the top half of the sphere, now showing an image of the galaxy itself. Lojekek in his mechanical form was easily twice the size of a normal bulbous Lopec, and he had been built with twice as many opposadendrites. His silver and dark blue carapace gleamed across the reflected stars in the image above his head, and his six cyan eyes turned upwards to match the searing and piercing eye of the galaxy. So much to know, so much to explore, so much to become. The race will not falter, for one day the body of the race will extend across stars and form a net that we may catch knowledge with as it falls from the heavens. Our mission transcends the individual, and extends across faceless billions to make a wholesome face that is the Lopec race in all. There was a whirring, and the main door prepared to open. Six thousand eyes turned to see, to be beholden to the aliens.
  3. IC: VejmeqVejmeq had followed his friend Nikaron and his group into Ko-Wahi, though now he could not find him. They had been separated a while ago, and so Vejmeq was now wandering the streets in search of him.
  4. OOC: Yes, Lojekek is the leader of the race.IC: [3-29, Abjiost]The bolts struck the rear engines of the Colonizer Ship, an in a great plume of fire in the void they were destroyed. The ship was now only guided by inertia, and would not have time to reach a distance far enough to activate the FTL drive. How could ships have been mobilized so quickly? There were no defense ships in the home system, who were they? And as they circled, passing in front of the transparent cockpit, Hokenj saw that they were by no means any Lopec ship ever built.Just then, six Jiheks and a Sahku dropped out of warp many kilometers in front of the ship, and began to approach.Back on the homeworld, Lojekek was informed of this, and sent another message to the leader of the alien beings."I thank you for this, would they have gone but a bit farther they would be lost to us. You may cease fire, my reinforcements have arrived, they will retake the ship. Send your emissary to these coordinates on the surface."
  5. IC: [3-29, Abjiost. Master of Mind Lojekek]It was quite a day. First, Scholar of Mind Hokenj of Homsej had commandeered the Colonizer Ship, and was moving away from Abjiost so that it could activate the FTL drive. And now this. Ships, each holding minds that existed outside of the Lopec, had appeared in 3-29."Hail! This the Admiral of the Rakatan Navy! Respond or be destroyed!"Lojekek had suspected that life and minds existed far off in the universe, but never this close, nor that they would express such transparent aggression. And so, he responded."I speak as Lojekek, of the race, of the Lopec. I know not what you are, but we do not so easily declare willingness to give oblivion to others as you do. I would wish that we may speak as mind in sight of mind, yet now is a difficult time. The ship which is leaving this planet has been taken by an... enemy of mine. If you wish for destruction, fire upon the thrusters, rendering it immobile. If you do this, I would thank you and extend pleasantries for further speech soon afterward."In case they should decline or attack the world itself, Lojekek sent out a signal, calling for reinforcements from the worlds to either secure the Colonizer Ship or defend the homeworld.Forces warping to 3-29:13-3: 1 Sahku exploration starship30-3: 3 Jihek frigate gunboats31-3: 3 Jihek frigate gunboats
  6. Sorry about that, my TF2 senses were tingling.Anyway, I am of the opinion that a title is actually rather important - it is what you first tell people about a book. It shapes the first impressions of it, and thus generates interest or disinterest. For example, an extremely good book I read was called Dies the Fire. It sounded interesting just from the title, and so I checked it out and it turned out to be one of the best books I have ever read.As for stories that I have floating in my mind, I have such titles as:Treasure the ObscureAraneumThus Dust, Evermore
  7. 8. OOC:Woah woah woah woahI don't remember them being that far apart. I thought they were all in the center of the map, did you change the numbers? Ugh god.Either you changed the numbers or I made a drastic mistake. Either way, I have no intention of being so spread out: I wanted to be in the center, I thought I was in the center. Can I change the worlds to 29 as the homeworld and 10, 13, 30 and 31 as the other worlds? I will put what I have on those systems on the aforementioned systems.I really thought I was all clustered together in the center. Ugh.Also, I am dark blue, not pink.
  9. Granted, the law of thermodynamics kicks into overdrive, and the universe grows progressively more disorderly until the universe suffers heat death, and no physical interactions ever occur again. As such, you have destroyed the universe.I wish that this wish is false.
  10. OOC: Meheheheheheh, I love you for adding tacklers Xom.So, do they sort of project an area of Burnspace at the target? Or just prevent them from starting their engines?
  11. IC: [28-3, Abjiost. Fleet Shipyard]The ship was glorious, sailing out of the light blue atmosphere across majestic streams of turbulence and potential breath. It was an ark that would carry the Lopec into a new era, expanding the Five Stars into Six. In the future, yet more would be built, and so the dots of the race across the void would grow in density and concentration until the galaxy was a sea of deep dark blue.It was entirely unarmed, of course. There were none to attack it: no other race save the Lopec dwelled these stars, and there was no reason to comprehend that any Lopec would attack another of their race.Of course, such optimism soon revealed itself to be a false assumption. The Jihek assault frigate appeared out of nowhere, warping in with a flash that transcended light. Like an electron it orbited its target, the nucleus that was the Colonizer Ship. Once at its underside, the Jihek fired a round of opalescent cyan shots that cut the docking doors in two.The vacuum greeted those who happened to be in there, accepting their lives as payment for their breath. The Jihek pushed itself into the bay, right before blast doors slammed shut the vacuum's transaction. It extended legs, lowered itself, and was silent. Ramps fell outwards, and dozens of soldiers streamed out of it.Through a series of turns and twists, they made it to the bridge. All was silent as the crew held their opposadendrites outstretched, until a figure pushed itself out of the croud of soldiers."I am Scholar of Mind Hokenj. We lay claim to this ship in the name of the Third Star, Homsej."
  12. OOC: Would you mind if, when the time comes, I did the honors of unveiling the new Interstellar Line to sector 3, with my own description and writing and such?
  13. OOC:Hooray, bloodshed war and chaos! See you guys soon!

Scholar of Mind Hokenj]Scholar of Mind Hokenj and his retinue stepped down from the bridge, leading from the Jihek frigate that had taken them to Abjiost. Lojekek was soft, and easily budged under his hinted threat at disunion. But he still had his suspicions that Lojekek was not as passive as he appeared to be.His aid turned to him, and spoke."Scholar, you have done well on your journey. Our independence is in sight.""You are either a simpleton not worthy of your office or a sightless fool. I have done nothing but delayed and lengthened. Why do you think we are only building these measly fighter ships they send us?""What do you mean, Scholar?""Were we ever to secede, what could we do? We have but one ship, the fighters are useless to us as we cannot bring them out of the atmosphere, for we have not the understanding to do so. Lojekek knows my intentions: he will not have us build ships that we may defend ourselves with. We are still in the black space, for all that Lojekek claims that we will now share our understandings we learned in those two decades.""Then what can we do?""There is news" he said, "that the factories on Abjiost are building a great, vast ship that will be used to colonize a new world, to make a six star where before there were five. If the race, if Homsej, is to endure," Hokenj hesitated with a weight that carried malice."We must seize it, and leave the five stars."
  15. Granted. You get the bag, but it is empty.I wish that I had not corrupted the previous wish.
  16. Granted, but none fall from the sky.I wish that every wish following this one will all be this wish.
  17. I recently took the SAT, and I remember I took a practice SAT the week before and got a 2020.

  19. Granted, but those dang butterflies keep flapping their wings and messing up the weather patterns you set up.I wish that the next wish will be uncorruptable.
  20. Granted. But you are required to repeat every word in the comedy 70 times before typing the next word.I wish that this wish will not be granted.
  21. Granted. It not only does not correct your mistakes, but also puts in mistakes that it thinks you should have made.I wish that the following wish will not happen.
  22. Well, it does not make much sense that something with less capability than a station costs more, so perhaps the capacity should be upped to 40.
  23. OOC:Yes, I am aware. They may not even have to be trans-atmospheric: they could just be stored until needed. Let's say I am at war with a very close neighbor (or have made myself close to another empire) and I have carriers. I attack, release fighters, fighters kill and get killed. Carriers fall back, go to a world with a storehouse of fighters, pick them up, fight, rinse and repeat. Of course, some carriers would die. This can also be done with orbiting stations, for a defensive aspect. I get attacked, my fleet and my station battle the enemy fleet, station releases fighters who get themselves killed. I have a carrier ferry fighters from the surface into the station, and so on.
