What Wahi are the Dark Walks technically in? All of them, just "beneath"? If one were wanting to roleplay something living in the Dark Walks, would you just post in a number of different regions depending on what surface interaction you wanted? Or maybe Kini-Nui? Is that still a region topic?

It wouldn't even have to be a hybrid. It could be a shadow kraata, or even just a particularly influential Level 6. I could possibly see that happening; with no orders to follow, the more intelligent Rahkshi/Kraata must be bored out of their minds. I'm not even thinking THAT intelligent - more on par with something like a predatory pack animal. Wolves come to mind, or apes...

As for whether Rahkshi and Kraata could be a threat: Suppose a particularly vicious and above-average Rahkshi were to emerge as a "pack leader", and begin to unite the feral Rahkshi masses... One of above average strength, greater intelligence, and a distinctive look, ornate rust scars perhaps? Or perhaps some sort of Rahkshi/Kraata/Parakuka experiment or hybrid? I'm already visualizing mano-e-mano battles between feral Rahkshi leaders for leadership. If they (or he) were ever to allowed as playable, that is.

Thanks to the TVTropes page, I (re)discovered it was Terros-Nui! It later got combined with The Academy (the portal bit you mentioned) back in '07 after that RPG Contest Winner's one year was up. It was quite cool really! Or maybe I just have some warped nostalgia for commanding an airship and rogue Nogans running around everywhere, serving a necromancing being called Ak"rei'an (who I hear is back?). Or maybe it's the old Heartlight plague thing I came up with that ended up becoming a major arc.. *shrug* As for a comeback... Anything is possible. Would likely be very intermittent.

As a long-absent BZPRPG player (2006-2007, though I poke my head in now and again), this rundown combined with the wiki and the really nice art by Ferain and the MOCs by yourself are really exciting! I really like the goal of having an abridged "Lorebook" and major events rundown. Looking very nice.

Sounds like about the right tech, though. I'd say power, sand, and some levers are definitely within islander's means.Upon secondary examination: Wouldn't the sand slowly trickle, causing the weight to slowly increase, moving the *impact based?* detonator far to slowly to have anything more than a slow bump, grind, if that? Maybe not the best design. I dunno. I could be misunderstanding your explanation of how it works.

Ah, ****. I typed out this long testament to the legacy of Bionicle and the unlikelyhood of its return, and then I lost it. Shoot.Abridged version, then: It was what it was. It had its time. But it passed, and is unlikely to return. Its legacy are places like this site. They are "what is left". And that is what you should take away from this. Hmm...I'm trying really hard to remember you...As I'm another veteran...Hmmm.I dunno, wasn't all that terribly active. I was active around the time Nogans and the Brotherhood of Ak're'an (or something like that) took off. Nidiki99 and that whole group. I had a Toa of Plant Control I played the most he joined Joske's cause for a while, a Toa of Fire who forged weapons who did very little, and another couple characters. Helped come up with a sort of heartlight plague/virus thing. And came up with some ideas about bringing back Bohrok of a variety that never really materialized.Oh yeah! Plant Control Toa was captain of an airship for a while. That was fun. Still can't remember his name... But I made a handful of secondary characters for that, bridge crew and Gukko Riders and such. Was entertaining, writing bridge scenes.And then BZPRPG got merged with the other major one, the Academy, and I kinda faded away.Used to post under the name Toa Nuva of Time or Timedude16, probably had a Vahi as my avatar. Maybe that helps. If not, no bigee. I don't recognize people online after a long absence. There's so much changeover and renaming, and more often than not, you don't recall the names. Or at least I don't.So, I see Rahkshi are not on the approved species list. Anybody have one that got special approval or tried to get special approval?

So, are the assassins working at the behest of Makuta (knowingly)? Or no? And has Hafu given any hint as to why they're after him?

Ah, a newer, understated avatar for a newer, understated BZP. Time for my periodic checkin where I traditionally make bold claims about coming back and posting regularly again and then forget about it by the next day. Don't worry, I won't try and fool myself this time. Just like to pop in and see the folks every once in a while. I read there's been another soft reboot. And the whole Xa-koro/wahi/xuta aspect is gone. Eh, things change, I guess. I was always rather intrigued by Xa-stuff, especially the magic. I felt like it added a distinctively BZP flair. But I'm not bemoaning. I poked around here and there, saw fanmade species are back to being allowed? Oh, Nogans. You could return yet *cough cough*. And a new wiki in the works? Going on 4 or 5 now. *shrug*Still, seems to still be alive and kicking around here. More sandox in style, I read, though still with "official canon" storyline for those interested. How has that been going? I'm intrigued. The Chronicler's company, the Toa hidden away... Oh so many mysteries, Smeag. I guess some things never change, old boy. ;)Noticed I got an 8 year badge, too. Wow, so many varied recommendations... I started to total them up but it was coming to a lot of 4s, 5s, and 6s. Looks like Waspix, Toxic Reapa, Witch Doctor, and Scorpio (oh, and Rotor) are the leading villain sets. Not gonna bother with the Heros, we all know Recon is the favorite there! Just kidding. Sorta.I will say, I haven't bought a Hero Factory set yet [Haven't bought a system set since... geez. Before hand pieces? How long ago was that? (getting a little old for this stuff)], but Recon and the new Rocka are rock'n my short list. Now if Recon would add that sweet looking hex energy shield piece to Recon... Anyway.
