Because I haven't been on here in ages. And I feel I've done some decent work, and improved a bunch into the biomech, since I have. I finished my HB Toa "Metru" last month (after a year!). Their costumes were inspired by steampunk-ish versions of their respective professions. In chronological order: My Non-Canonical Toa of Ice Bionicle Art Squad Challenges: Flora & Fauna of Okoto (Couldn't post a thumbnail for these next two) Video Game Characters in the MU Enjoy.
These are designs I did for a challenge from the Bionicle Art Squad in which we design our own protector. The first is a protector inspired by samurai where I originally had them as perhaps a protector that existed before Narmoto although the skull spider shoulder armor now breaks that continuity and the second one is a Korgot redesign, emphasizing the gun chest feature by...adding more guns (still needs more guns) and is heavily inspired by Gundam Heavyarms.
BAS Weekly Challenge Week 15- Makuta Metae by crunchbitenuva Makuta Metae, an member of the Sisterhood of Makuta, was noted for her discovery of the Kraata’s ability to infect Kanohi masks. During the Great War on Mata Nui, she was one of many Makuta tasked by Teridax to fit the infected Kanohi onto the Rahi to make them servants of the Makuta. Personally, I'm not really into designing OC characters, I'm much more comfortable with more official characters. This really originated from me wanting to incorporate more real-life culture aesthetics into my art. So I was re-designing the movie-style Kraahkan with more African influences, but it ended up looking more like a Dragon Priest mask from Skyrim.
