Hapori Tohu Posted August 10, 2017 Share Posted August 10, 2017 Just over eight months ago, LEGO announced a major restructure that included the appointment of Bali Padda as CEO of The LEGO Group. Today they shared that Niels B. Christiansen will take the reins as of October 1st of this year. While this seems like a sudden change, it makes sense, as Bali Padda had said publicly at BrickFair New England that he had been planning his retirement prior to being asked to be CEO. Christiansen has years of experience with the family-owned, Danish company Danfoss and has helped that company grow and evolve with the times. Let's hope he is able to do the same for The LEGO Group!
