Hapori Tohu
In a press release shared yesterday, Target Corporation and Tru Kids Brands announced that the Toys "R" Us website has returned. Interestingly enough, you can't buy toys there. The purpose of the site, in marketing-speak, is to share, "content-rich videos and articles on the latest trends and hottest toy brands, in-depth product reviews, hot toy lists and brand experiences to help consumers find the perfect toys and gifts to delight kids of all ages." If you see something you want to buy, you can click on a link that directs you to Target's website where you can then buy it to have it delivered or pick it up in a store. That's certainly one way of doing things, I suppose, and clearly seems like a way to utilize the TRU brand while not having to worry about all of the retail overhead it takes to run a store.View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
