Hapori Tohu
Back in 2018 the BrickLink Designer Program launched and allowed fan designers to submit ideas that were then crowd-funded to become actual sets. Since then LEGO purchased BrickLink, and while this is still a hot topic in the community, this new effort seems to hold great promise. Recently on the Ideas blog, Hasan Jensen announced that they would be realizing more LEGO Ideas designs together with the BrickLink Designer Program. What does this mean? The two platforms will be taking a look at non-external-IP-based projects that achieved ten thousand votes of support but were not selected to become official sets. A selection of these will go through BrickLink and will allow fans to purchase them as sets! This is a second chance for things like the Working Waterfall, Great Fishing Boat, Pursuit of Flight, and more! I definitely am looking forward to see what models are chosen!View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
