About Slicer1234

Profile Information

  • Gender
    Male
  • Location
My secret place (a basement most of the time)
  • Interests
Bionicle, writing, video games and guitar are my 4 favorite things in life. I spend a lot of time at my computer, too, but that doesn't mean I like it. XD

My favorite band is Fall Out Boy, my favorite song by them being The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes. My favorite song to play on my guitar is Wake Me Up When Sptember Ends by Green Day, and my favorite song overall (second to play) is Letterbomb, also by Green Day. I have a super old, custom-made acoustic-electric hybrid thing, sound amazing, looks like crud. My siter's best friend asked me to learn to play Grand Theft Autumn/ Where Is Your Boy for her, and I'm a good kid, so I though 'Why not?' I plan to get a pure-bred electric around summer, if my mom decides it's not too expensive.

My favorite writer here at BZP would probably be Eyru ~Vahki Mutant~. Ironically, he's a fan of me, too, being the fourth, I believe, person to review my epic Gladiator, and one of the first people to submit a guest star.

My best friend here, though, for sure, is kardaswarlord. I've been friends with him since December, he's MoCed for my epic, and he's been a dedicated fan since day 0.

Enough references, lets get down to my one claim to fame here at BZP: Gladiator. My epic details the early life of Axonn, particularly in an underground gladiator arena, subsequently named The Arena. I have some of the coolest fans on the planet, including some who have reviewed every chapter since they've come aboard. There's even some people who have submitted multiple guest stars.

My preferred type of video game is platformers, particularly those created by Insomniac and Naughty Dog. My favorite system is PS2, but only because I don't have the money for a PS3. Oddly enough, my absolute favorite game is the RPG Kingdom Hearts II, Ratchet: Deadlocked coming in behind by a hair. Rathect and Clank: Size Matters is pretty fun, but I don't own it yet; I've beaten a few parts of it for my best friend, though.

  1. You will be mourned. But we know you're in a better place than BZPower. :)

  2. So Slicer PMed me saying that he has grown out of Bionicle, and is leaving BZPower. That means The Order won't be finished, unfortunately, but it also means that BZP is losing a valuable member. You'll be missed, Slicer. Hope you get out of the Dark Ages safely. :)

  3. Hey, dude, where've you been? It's been, like, forever since an update. =/

  4. Hey Slicer. I havn't been around in a while, but I remember you as a reviewer of my epic: At the Gates of Meta Nui. Well, I recontinued it, so just to let you know if you want to keep reading it!

  5. Hi Slicer! I just wanted to say that the stories that you've written are excellent. I really enjoyed reading Gladiator, even though I didn't finish it. Keep it up!

  6. Happy super-belated birthday!

  7. he visited me today and didn't leave a comment. maybe he'll read this. LET"S BE FRIENDS

  8. Since your messenger's disabled, I figured it would be best to leave you a comment that The Order's finally coming back. See you around.

  9. where art thou Slicer?

    I miss the Order!

    :P

    New Serials

I'm glad to see old characters'll be coming back for the whole of '08. I enjoyed the serials for the most part this year, and that teams sounds, at least, interesting.
  11. I think Slicer will get fed up with Dermika before Dermika's sick of Slicer, which makes the second bit of your suggestion absolutely perfect. I'll fit it in.

(The messenger's disabled for you, BTW.)

  12. It's a little belated, but happy birthday! Hope you enjoyed it.

  13. Though I can't really say anything about comedies, I agree with everything you said about epics. There's such a broad range of stories (that is slowly narrowing to stories abotu odl character's pasts or generic Toa-beat-bad-guys) that, even if you believe your the best writer, you have to recognize a better story when you see one. My couple'o'cents. True. The only authors I would single out as the best on BZP are the modest kind who will quickly point out some other member's work as well to broaden one's understanding of BZP epics. (And I am completely oblivious if epic themes are becoming too homogenious, because I'm only reading the work of two or three favorite authors...) I do control the replies to my entries. ~ Xccj
