This is a statement of BZP policy regarding advertising.
  • Advertising for commercial sites of any kind is not permitted whether in a signature, profile, post, or via PM.

  • Advertising for Bionicle sites is permitted. Such links to sites should be in the thread in General Discussion that is dedicated to site displaying.

  • Advertising for a message board or forum is prohibited without approval of Black Six. That includes having a link to a website that links to another message board. Advertising for message boards of any kind is not permitted whether in a signature, profile, post, or via PM without approval. In addition, just mentioning or alluding to a site in violation of this or any other advertising guideline will result in penalty.

** Do not PM Black Six asking for approval. Approval is not given by request, it is offered if Black Six feels your forum deserves it and is by invitation only***

NOTE: Advertising for a forum via instant message is also forbidden. Think this is out of BZP's realm of control? You got the IM name at some point from BZP, so you used the BZP system to solicit or advertise, and that is against these guidelines. Advertising via IM to circumvent BZP filter controls is just as bad a violation as any other means of advertising.
  • Linking to your own personal blog not hosted by BZPower is prohibited. This includes various social and networking websites as well. In addition to containing personal information we feel should not be shared through BZPower, many of these sites have content that is not appropriate for younger BZPower members.
  • A link to your own personal website is permitted, provided it does not violate any of the above stipulations.
Please adhere to these guidelines. Repeated offenses could lead to an offenders removal from the BZPower.
