Hi guys, I'm drowning in finals right about now and haven't seen you guys for like, 20ish days. D:
Finals are rather rough on me this year. I'm taking 18 credits worth of classes (every credit is equal to an hour in class and at least an hour outside of class on homework), so studying for finals is killing my braaaain. One of my finals involves sewing up a costume in only

Shame on me for staying up 'till midnight last night: Got up wtih my mum around 7:00am to drop my sis off at the zoo for her volunteer job, went home, had some breakfast, then we jumped back in the van and drove for 2 and a half hours over to Coshocton to pick up my bro and dad from a Scout thing.
Picked them up around 12:15. Loaded the van with all their Scouty stuff.

The reason that I am tired is because last night, I helped my dad pick up his new car.
It's a royal blue, '59 Volkswagen Beetle, and it's the most adorable thing in the world! If it didn't belong to my dad, I'd want it so badly...
But, yeah, he bought it from a guy named Paul who lives a few counties down from us. It hasn't been out of the guy's garage for about 10 years, and there's a lot of stuff that needs to be worked on. All the tires are flat, it needs two more hubcaps,
Answered the phone. A lot. Followed a little non-English-speaking girl (about 3 or 4 years old), who was having a jolly good time taking butterfly stickers and flinging them into the air. My time was spent peeling these stickers off the floor, shelves, merchandise, etc. I never did find her parents. Got to remind a person that, no, we no longer carry the Bohrok sets. They were rather upset. Got to meet a Lego employee who stocks our shelves once a week. She was very nice. ^____^ Heard Bakuga

The group I worked with is called World Changers, off of the NAMB, which has hundreds of teens go around all summer and do week-long construction projects in different parts of the USA.

It feels kinda good to be able to sit at my own computer and chop away at some reports for once. XD
It's been a really long day of driving, but I'm home, and I miss everyone horribly. There were so many people there this year - over twice as many that came last year - and man, we had so many staff and members that showed up, it was crazy. I'm sorry that I didn't get to meet people who arrived on Sunday, since I didn't arrive until after public hours were over!

1: It's warm (92 degrees). And humid. And I am dying. Even with an air conditioner.

Underneath said Christmas tree (or, rather, next to it), received from my grandfather only two days ago, is a rather large box.

Went to see Eragon today.
Heh... I liked how they did Saphira, and I'm just a total fan of Jeremy Irons in any movie, but the rest of it wasn't very good. The storyline was so mixed around from the book, and they left way too much stuff out... It really wasn't worth my 30 minutes to drive or 11 of my 12 bucks.
But, hey, my dad and bro liked it. Then again, they haven't read the book.
