Still sick. I don't like being sick. It makes me weak and confused.

So, last night, I took Ny-Quil gel-caplets. It's nasty stuff if you don't swallow it right away, and, come to think of it, it did absolutely nothing for my congestion.
But, oh, was I a happy sleeper. ^^ That stuff knocked me out about 3 minutes after it went into my mouth.

These guys are Dirk and Guido, who appear at the Renaissance Festival every year.
They're a TOTAL riot to watch in person.
And they drag unsuspecting people onto the stage and make them dance and stride around the festival grounds. It's awesome. ^^
And next year, I shall try to make my friend record them with something other than a digital camera. *coughcough*

NOTE: This has NEVER happened to me before. Until yesterday.
I got Vezon and Kardas yesterday. At a bargain, too: only $25 at Target's after-Christmas sale.
So, yippee-yay, I was all excited to get him built. Poured out the contents of the box. Got to building.
Well, lessee... I got about halfway done, I guess: I had just finished his legs, when I realized something.
I was missing pieces.
"Hmm... Nvm, let's keep building, maybe they'll show up."

Well, due to some happenings here in Niki-land (plus a vacation weekend, WHOO), I will be very absent until after Labor Day. I wish I could say I would get some artwork done in that time, but maaaaaan stagecraft class has me booked. (Not complaining, oh no, stagecraft is an utter joy. =D It's just... 50 recommended hours of shop work (plus at least 3 backstage striking) in one semester = agh)

They are less fun when you have to memorize and review over 100 pages of them (about 5-10 pics per page) for a 14-page exam.

Well, I owe an explanation:
Last Friday, my dad and I were doing some work on his bug, just tuning it up and stuff. He turns and asks me, "So, are you excited about going to Gettysburg on Sunday?"
So, yeah, I took an unexpected, week-long trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, home of one of the bloodiest battles of the American Civil War (over 53,000 people died in 3 days of fighting.)
And, yes, Devil's Den is part of Gettysburg.

So uh, my laptop's audio got shot. I was installing Skype and checking my non-existent microphone's drivers, and my sound totally disappeared.
All my audio devices are listed as installed and working (save my microphone, which I finally realized I don't really have xD) and my volume levels are all on. When I try to test my speakers for my laptop, I get an error message saying it failed to play.
