Quoting Biomech in my last blog entry:
Don't worry, Bio, I'm not gonna harass you. It's just...
That's what I don't like about the ACs right now: It's more of a popularity contest. And popularity is not fun in this situation.
At all.
I'd just love for people to vote for the actual art, not for the person behind it. There's a lot of entries out there by not-as-well-known artists that are terrific, but they are not making it into the final polls, just beacuse a popular artist is
I learned a valuable lesson on Super Bowl Sunday:
Never... EVER... tell a group of total Halo fanatics that you have never played Halo or Halo 2 before. They will more than likely run you out of town and try to behead you with their Xbox 360 controllers.
Same goes for Final Fantasy and the Wii. Except they'll kill you with Playstation controllers and the cool white sticks. ><

Hey, look, I've finally shown my sorry face in the forums again! L
I love snow.
And my marshmallow coat.
It's so flooooofy. <3
Also, Ohio got like about an inch of the white stuff today. Isn't sticking very well but it's still ground cover, bwahaha. =D

Saw the dentist this morning.
Apparently, my concern about my jaw pain and shifting bite were not all that paranoid after all.
I'm seeing an oral surgeon in about a month (July the 12th).
Jaw rearrangement is imminent. :\
In the meantime, I'm getting these wicked painkillers that are supposed to help but might make me feel like I'm floating from time to time. Whee~

Today was my first day actually working (and getting paid) at a fast-food restaraunt.
I got assigned to the register for my shift, but I ended up doing multiple things the whole 5 hours - mainly fries and bagging. I had a friend assigned to drive-thru, so that made things fun. My shift manager says I also make a mean cup of coffee.
I didn't kill anyone or blow anything up, so that's also a good mood-lifter.
It was all awesome and confusing and insane at the same time, and today wasn't
Niki was having a really crummy kind of day.
Then she got a speakerphone call from the staff and members headed to Toyfair.
Now she's happy. :,)

Can someone remind me who or what or where this magical thing called "sleep" is?
I seem to be missing a whole lot of it lately.
EDIT: This lack has caused me to become ill. I shall be gone for a while.

My camera does not do this poor guy justice, man. It's sad.
I blame Smeag.
I blame 80's month.
I blame Wal-Mart having him on clearance.
...
I mostly blame Smeag.

Note of advice from Niki!
Don't get stuck out in the rain for extended periods of time with a really absorbent coat!
You will be really really cold and wet and feel kind of yucky.
And then you will be achey the next day and go "GRAAAAH" all the time.
Also - having hot cocoa twice within the span of 12 hours is like, tons of amounts of yum! Cocoa cocoa cocoa yuuuuuum! =3

We've still got the cat from several entries ago. He's made no attmept to leave, so we're just keeping him after all.
Dad named him Toby. It's very fitting for some reason.
Anyways, because he's still got his claws, he's been a bit of a nuisance. He loves to scratch up stuff.
Including us.
See, he hates to be handled. You can pick him up every now and again and he won't complain, but most of the time if your hands get anyhere near him, it's teeth and claws and a bunch of long, deep
I. DESPISE. Blood Test Needles.
I really do.
They creep around in my foulest nightmares.

Before you read this entry, if you weren't around the last time I did this trip and have no idea what in the world World Changers is, I suggest you read at least this first section of this blog entry, please and thank you.
Well, hi again, all. Sorry I scared you, TMD. The South was so much fun.
Georgia went very well. The drive last Friday/Saturday was really, really long and hot and humid, but it was awesome to look out the window when we drove through South Carolina and Georgia and see
I found BL10.
I bought BL10 (duh).
I read BL10 (doubleduh).
I love the new Makuta.
Several incidents in the book made me laugh.
Several made me go 'aha'!
Several made me just blankly stare at the pages in disbelief.
Tahu looks soooo much better on the cover than he did at the Toyfair.
I really do love the new Makuta.
And the ending made me want to scream. : D
So GO GET IT IT'S WORTH YOUR MONEY.
Aaaand on a side note - I can't get the special access stuff to open
EDIT: Oops. I forgot to publish this yesterday.... ><
It's 8:00 in the morning (a summer morning, out of all things), and do you know where I am?
BZP. A duh.
Yeah, I have no life until second week of July. My grandma's turning 80 today, so my mom's not here (left on Tuesday to go see my grandma) and the house is kinda...I dunno, under a lot of stress without her...
My dad's got a bunch planned, however. ^^
Thursday (today), we're gonna quickly drive over to Blcokbuster and
So my school's email server decided to get a bug of some nature. So my computer can't recieve email on and off at the most inconvenient of times. Like when I need to email a professor. Or print a study guide. Or send files to people for stuff.
I was able to use it five minutes ago, too. It broke behind my back. Again.
The dirty little wretch... ;__;
Aaaaaugh.
*bostaff*
Come on, email, stop breaking! D:<

Just turned in my 854th application for McDonalds. This time, though, the manager himself was there.
And joy of joys, he asked me to come back for an interview tomorrow afternoon.
Considering I have been looking for a job for over a year and have never been asked back until today, I have a right to be very excited right now.
:happydance:
Off to Fall Festival. Have a Happy Halloween, everyone!

Not everyone's made for college.
I don't know why I never thought of this until now. But it's true, you know? Many people have good and prosperous lives without having to go to a top notch school, get one, two, three plus degrees, be at the top of their academic field. Plus people have different minds and personalities. Some love the challenge college brings, while some can barely keep from buckling under the pressure.
It's weird to think about this now.
Cause I'm sitting at home, two

Under parental instruction, I cannot buy anything.
Nothing.
Zilch.
Nada.
Abosolutely nothing (that isn't essential) until January 1st.

Considering that my 17th birthday (3 weeks from Wednesday yay ) and Christmas are between now and then, I can understand why.
But ARG I FINALLY GOT MONEY TODAY TO BUY MAXILOS NOW I CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITH IT. D:
