So I got The LEGO Movie off iTunes and watched it again today. I don't know why I feel the need to post this, but that's okay because SPACESHIP SPACESHIP SPACESHIP SPACESHIP
In the loosest sense of the word. I've been wanting to make my Arduino do MIDI for a while but blah school and finals and stuff. Now that I'm almost settled into the summer routine of doing nothing other than working all day and making the frequent walk to buy groceries, I can do more things. Going to be working on the Spirit headpiece too, and maybe some other things.
kopaka have you been tanning no why So I did a Hero Factory Kopaka too. Still trying to figure out how to do Gali and Pohatu properly, since neither HF shells nor skeleton pieces come in tan or light blue. Plus Pohatu's torso setup makes it harder.
Because suddenly I like vinyl or something. Limited release Drink The Sea/We Can Make The World Stop combo with funky color-blended records. Also I saw another LEGO Movie pillow at WalMart. Different one, though, and I didn't feel like picking this one up.
Today marks the 10th anniversary of Code Lyoko's first broadcast in the US. The episode was Teddygozilla, and it was weird. I didn't know about it at first. I'm not sure exactly when I discovered it, but I remember the scene that introduced me: Odd was fighting a Blok in the Forest sector. He jumped over it and shot it and it blew up. It was just on TV and it looked cool. I'm really glad I found it when I did. This show was my late childhood. Finding out there was going to be a secon
Has been oodles of fun. I'd managed to finish up my Rapidstrike build on Sunday, and it is everything I'd hoped it could and would be. It empties a 35-drum in about 5 seconds. Absolutely zero conservation of ammo. It's a dart hose. But anyway I died Tuesday.night near the start of the first mission. I knew I was going to be targeted since I've gotten to be one of the bigger names in the game. So I only brought two sock flails and wore the zombie tape under my sweatshirt to save time.
Woo! New for me this game are my two Stryfes. I got the Stryfes when they were going for about $6 at Target recently. They've been gutted and motor-swapped, so now they're loud and stupid powerful. I decided to keep them running on AA batteries, though, because running them on 7.4 volt LiPo packs probably wouldn't be HvZ-legal. Same for the 11.1 volt ones. Gonna go through a lot of AAs, though. I'm hoping I can finish my Rapidstrike/Stupidstrike rewiring tomorrow, so I can use it. I a
I found this at Walmart a little while ago. I didn't buy it, and the next time I went the big display they were in was gone. I regret not buying it now.
I took some time from things I should be doing (involving thermodynamics and MetalBeard and Breez [but not all at the same time]) to make a creepy face. I want to finish this costume even more now.
This is the Mixel joint thing I was talking about in the stream. If they released an axle-socket connector, you'd be able to replace the 3-axle neck with a ball-and-socket joint of equivalent length, leaving the gear mechanism and everything else intact. (This isn't the best or clearest drawing, and the joint is actually upside-down from being the ideal orientation, but it demonstrates the concept better than I could probably describe it.) Right now I'm using Toa Metru heads for my HF-upgra
