*Twitches* Pokemon Distribution Events

I have to admit, I love and hate Pokemon Distribution Events, such as the Hoopa one right now. It’s great for people who live in cities where there is a McDonalds on every street corner, or a Gamestop a block away… but it sucks for people who live in rural locations. I had to drive a 100 miles one way, today, in snow, at -10*F, just to get to a McDonalds. Mind you I thankfully had to go Bulk grocery shopping anyway, since in winter here I can’t afford to go up to Fairbanks once a month for bulk

Thus it begins

So it begins. I deleted the prior data, and started up the game. Named my character Vox for obvious reasons, and since the trainer id ended in a 0 I was able to choose the starter of my choice. I've always been a Cyndaquil man. Still am. This one's stats seem heavily infavor of speed.   Also looking for name suggestions for future pokemon, since I will be nicknaming all pokemon. Moc Related Question

So awhile ago I remember reading some comment on the BBC section of the forums, particularly revolving around a certain contest, can't remember which one, and it was mentioned that there was a certain piece that was allowed to be cut without it causing the model to be disqualified, since most BBC Contests require the use of non-modified parts. Ya ever...

Moved

Well finally got moved into my new place.. after a year of no hot water and having to boil water when i wanted to take a shower I am finally in a place with running hot water.. far bigger than my last place and life is generally good. Still have alot of boxes to unpack but right now i am sore from all the lifting and what not I have had to do.

Venting

I must say that I'm really getting frustrated because I've only had 1 person Comment on my epic The Switch Mirror And mind you this story has been up since December 6th 2010. The same applies to my first ever stop motion video The curious Stant Viper except this has only been up since February 8th and still no one has left any type of comment although there have been plenty of views of the two. Gym 5&6: Holy Heck, Snowdome is a boss

So not much worth noting for Gym 5, as I used two flying pokemon to take care of said gym, however Gym 6... That is a different story So started with Raze, thinking fire would be good against steel. It was, but her magnemite used thunderbolt, and Raze was left clinging at 1 HP. Immediately brought out Snowdome, and used him for the rest of the entire fight. Bzpower, Contests and Scheduling.

So I don't think I've made an entry like this before... but given an interesting revelation I felt it might be worth it.   There is one massive gripe I have about the contests Bzpower runs. A large portion of the time they never stick to their schedules. This is most prevalent within the Flickr Contests, which has seen voting delayed quite sometime in the past. Heartgold Nuzlocke

Current Temp Of Tok, Alaska

well as of today tok, Alaska has a temp of 6.6*f and a windchill of 7*f and light snow. we are supposed to maintain this temp for the rest of the week. which is a relief since mos of last week we were at on average -20*f, but our lowest was -40*f. most Alaskans are predicting a bad winter.

Camera Help?

Alright I don't normally ask for help, but I'm finding myself in a bit where I can find the answer to something but it's incredibly confusing answers.   As I mentioned awhile ago, I bought a new camera... well Newish. I understand most of the functions of it, but some I still don't understand when the right time would be to use them. Today was a very good day.

So I had to head up to Fairbanks today to pick up food and whatnot with Foodstamps, since it's generally cheaper... I decided to also treat myself. I went and saw a movie today, Spy specifically. Surprisingly good movie for being a Melissa Mcarthy movie, I'd definitely recommend it. Mind you the last time I saw a movie while in theaters was Prometheus... 4 custom masks

Ok well i recently ordered a 4 custom masks from Modalt's masks on Bricklink and figure i would share them with everyone   Here is all four of them 2 repaints and 2 fusions So here are some smaller pics of the individual mask. So really not much here although must say the gunmetal mask is evil to try and make an moc for.   If anyone has any suggestion on what colors i can use for an moc for the gunmetal grey mask please let me know.
