I'm considering on purchasing individual parts from online stores (as opposed to sets). I'm wanting to expand my inventory a bit in terms of functional pieces and some flair pieces. Specifically, I would love to know what the best pieces for fusion building are. I know of pieces like the brick/socket and the brick/ball pieces, etc. Got any other suggestions? I got my Brickmaster in today. I must say, I enjoyed the whole enchilada quite nicely.
The magazine itself was nice. There are a few pages dedicated to Bionicle, talking about the Mistika and whatnot. The new Agents comics are neat, and rather entertaining as well. The Batman comic was ok... Also featured is a two page... thingy... on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars LEGO minifigures, coming out later on in the summer apparently. The minifigs looks pretty good, especially the clones. Captain Rex

Set #4993: Cool Convertible

Yep, that's right; it's not technic! Heh, I haven't purchased a system set in years. The reason for my purchase of this set was due to an upcoming project that I'm wanting to work on which involves the colors of purple and white. Obviously, this set was for the latter color requirement. It was really interesting; I found myself walking around the ubber-cool LEGO store looking for sets based on content and pieces as opposed to theme for the first tim
I don't have much time to give my thoughts, but I can summarize. The movie was EPIC and AWESOME to say the least, especially regarding the whole Pandora world. I absolutely loved all of the fictional creatures and I found myself ogling at the various glowing plants, strange lizards which fly by spinning their wings in a rapid canopy above them, awesome six legged horses, and floating mountains among other things.

I worked outside in the yard for 6.5 hours today...
My legs feel completely drained of energy, but I feel very good about all I got done!
Mowing, weed-eating (edge trimming), and hauling cut up wood (we had a huge tree fall in our yard)
Now to work on my robot a little bit...

Since I posted this last week, I have fixed the lower legs so that they integrate more technic, and I think I've got a good upper leg design.I still need to change the arm cannon and add a head. The back isn't done yet either. We're getting close!

The Bionicle Based Creations Critics Club has recently been updated and edited. Toa Velox and I collaborated on how best to do this, and we have made several major changes:
- Removed critic screening; in other words, anyone can join!
- Added critic ranks. This (basically) is a way to encourage our critics to write better and better reviews. A critic will give a review, link to it in the "Critics" entry, and then the Curators will rate the review according to the quality of it in relation t
