Kitty Cat Awards

I've deleted the blocks on the right because Takua95 is going to update the collection in his blog, so I'll update them when he does that. Oh yeah, and this is also endorsement for the Pantone Collection, as he calls it. -

On Canonization

It's been a good long while since I was involved to any degree in an Internet debate, but here goes.   I like canonizations. I like world-building.   I've always thought of the Kanohi mask as being the primary emblem of Bionicle; it was a symbol that captured the mysticism and tribal feel of the early years, the science-fantasy feel of the later years, and it was one of the few constants that remained throughout the entire story. Wherever the story went, there were always Kanohi. So masks are so

Two More Things

I'll be going away tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. for about a week. Expect a week's delay for any PM replies or Blog comment approvals.   I should also have those System WIP pics up in a few minutes.   Have a nice day.   -

A Very Merry Christmas To You All!

So I heard it's like, Christmas or something. Merry Christmas! Unfortunately we can't celebrate yet because my dad has to work today and he won't get home until 7:30 or so. But we did celebrate yesterday at my grandparents' place. German Christmas is on the 24th for those of you who didn't know. -

BrickCon 2014 and Bionicle 2015

BrickCon happened last week. Due to certain complications, I was unsure whether I would attend or not, and so didn't register until Thursday, which was technically the first day of the con but the day before the exciting stuff started happening. Having missed last year due to being at university in Edmonton and a $500 plane ticket away, and seeing as I will likely be in the same situation next year, I simply could not let myself miss out this year, despite the fact that I'm not feeling my best t

I've never been much of a gamer, but I've always enjoyed the LEGO games. Recently I've also gotten into playing Smash.   Anyways, I just picked up a bunch of LEGO games on Steam. Star Wars Complete Saga, Clone Wars, Marvel Super Heroes, LotR, Hobbit and Indiana Jones 2.   Good thing I don't have much important stuff to do this summer.   -Letagi

Gonna Be Gone

For a few days, at least until Monday or Tuesday, maybe Thursday or Friday. I also need a new name for the blog. This one's a bit old. K bai. -

Yo I'm Back

So as some of you might have noticed I haven't been very active lately (like, the whole year). There's been a lot going on lately and I've been under a lot of stress, but hopefully I'll have more time for BZP over the summer. Yeah, I've said this before, but I think this time it's for real. In other news, we had the end-of-year banquet a few days ago. Just for the kids in the enriched programs. 'Twas awesome. The awards ceremony was the day after, and I got both the Band 9 and AutoTech 9

2008 Olympics

Judging by Lyger's sig and xccj's blog entry, it would seem at least too people are up-to-date on things .   Let the games begin.   Okay, so I'm a day late. Sue me. Or don't.   Can't wait for 2010. The Vancouver Olympics shall be awesome.   -

I think I'm going to make it this year. Anyone else?   Now, if they could just update the registration page on their website, like they said would be done in late November, that'd be great...   -Letagi

Reminiscence and Nostalgia

Eight years ago today, I made the switch from the LEGO Message Boards to BZPower, going by the name Letagi Le-Koro Gukko Pilot. In short order I became Letagi Great Toa of Air, and then just Letagi. I was The Fruglymobile Captain for a while, a tip of the hat to one of Arpy's old MOCs that I liked, and since 2008 I've just been Letagi.   I still remember avidly reading Dark709's comics back in the first few years of my membership, and noticing that he had a four-year Norik spinny, and thinking h

Star Trek Movies Over.

Okay, so I just watched the last four movies. All of them were very good. I've actually seen three of them, but quite a while ago. Wow. I watched nine hours of TV today. I almost never watch TV. Now to watch The Wrath Of Khan and The Search For Spock. Tomorrow. -

Life Updates

Okay, it's been a few weeks. Time for some updates. Not expecting a ton of response here, but I might as well put all this out there.   Actually, a bit of recent history first.   Last year, I went to university in Edmonton, Alberta. I took the summer and last semester off, and spent those eight months living with my parents again in Vancouver. The reason was that, having developed severe anxiety in my first year of university, I badly needed a break from the stress of school. Around August, I be

Time For Another All-nighter.

This time for socials. The last one was math. It's actually a group project, and my group is comparing the Agricultural Revolution (18th and 19th centuries) to the Green Revolution (20th and 21st centuries). So lucky me, I have to do all the research for the Green Revolution. I am however more than half done, with two and a half pages in Word. And I'm freaking exhausted. Well, guess I better get back to it now. And have I mentioned I'm freaking exhausted? -

I S A W A E R O S M I T H

AND IT WAS AMAZING Seriously. My ears were still ringing this morning. They played pretty much only hits for two and a half hours, only a few of which I didn't know. I was actually surprised at how many of the songs I recognized, since I don't really listen to them except when I hear them on the radio. But I think I'll pick up one or two of their CDs now. Oh, and sorry CzaR, but I didn't get any pics. I wasn't sure if they would allow cameras so I didn't want to risk it. Of course as

Well this isn't good.

Slightly freaking out right now because I leave for BrickFair in two days and I can't find my passport.   I think it might be in a different province.   Whoops.   Cancel red alert. Passport has been located.   -Letagi

Midterm Week

French and socials. I don't believe my luck. Grade eights have five. Had a science test and massive English essay today but neither were actual midterms. Owait English was worth ten percent of term two nevermind. Also this week the schedule is completely messed up. Razlak knows what I mean. Instead of four classes per day, we have two extra long ones. It's for students and teachers whose normal routes to the school are blocked because of the Olympics. But honestly, three hour classes? Madn

So.

I've got a few things on my mind.   First of all, I didn't get picked for the PPMS. Hm.   Second of all, the new chapter of the BZMS is up. I was promised a part in this chapter, but I wasn't in it. I've been waiting for at least six chapters. Eh.   Also, S@H doesn't have the MTT anymore. Bah.   I think there was one other thing, but I can't remember what it was.   -

Rod Stewart/Ѕtevie Nicks

I has tickets. Friday night. It will be awesome. Decent seats, too. Unfortunately I'm on my own. In other news, my Science Fair partner and I have made it to the Canada-wide competition in Toronto in May. Looking forward to that as well. Also, Moanin' by Charles Mingus is an incredible tune. Look it up. -
