Hey remember how I said my library was awesome because they had games to borrow?
Yeah well now they even have free music downloads, with no DRM to boot.
So I get to download a maximum of three songs per week, and this happens to the the be the end of the week, so it'll probably refresh tomorrow or the day after. Any songs/bands you think I should check out? I'm pretty cool with most genres, especially jazz, rock and techno.
I've been running around all day in a sweaty t-shirt, and the fans are blowing like crazy.
The problem is that this is happening because all the melting snow has flooded my den and we've been working like maniacs to clean up all the water.
Yeah, I don't know if I can actually pull it off, so I won't say much, but I've been thinking of a large model that combines four common LEGO themes. The problem is that I can only think of three:
*City/Town
*Castle (which would include stuff like Pirates and Ninjas, btw)
*Space
Any advice for the fourth theme? =/

No I am not forgetting about this Today's Yesterday's set is a table for the police station. Not much to it, but I'm glad to get some furnishing for the building. I really love this idea. Not only is it creative, but fun to play with too. So now our robber hoity-toity Frenchman stereotype has more snowballs and improved range. Who can stop him now!? 1) Take a banner picture
2) Take an interesting part of the picture and then cut up the image into rows so that the portion in question is it's own image, like so: 1 2 3 4 5 (Avoid making any separate part shorter than 30 pixels tall or else Internet Explorer will screw it up because it's Internet Explorer.)
3) Put it back together and link one of the files (in this case the eyes):

Looking back at my last blog entries before the site went down, I see that I wrote that on the last day of a previous college term. Right now I am one day away from the end of my current College term. Now that's what I call a coincidence. Also looking back at my Pink Floyd entry, I see I knew absolutely nothing back then. Ugh. Needs to be more like Racers 1 than 2. Open race world was an okay idea, but it left the environments kinda uninteresting after a while. Also, no destructible cars. That just left people with fewer bricks at a disadvantage. Also, tighten it up. Both games were kinda loose in terms of control.
Also, do NOT tie it to the Racers set theme. It needs a truckload of different themes in the game, from various years. Make it like the Smash Bros. of LEGO, in terms of variety
The hoity-toity Frenchman stereotype robber is wreaking holiday havoc! WHO WILL STOP HIM!? It's a holly jolly policeman! There's nothing too exciting about this set; it's a pretty standard policeman figure. I was surprised to see that he had a print on his back, though. I guess all the new torsos have that? Actually I'm currently working on some blog layout redesign. It will probably not be a total conversion right away, but hopefully my first changes might be more interesting than a simple theme swap.
I'm going to try to respect the wishes of the Blog Staff to keep comments pre-moderated, but I don't want to always keep it like that, so I'll try to use that feature only when I'm offline. When I'm online, I'll disable it because I can moderate my blog pretty much all the time I'm on. I think that might work well, let's try it.
