Consume Poultry

Like a Pilgrim.   But ugh I feel a stomach bug coming on. Today is NOT a good day for that. D:   Happy Thanksgiving everybody. Thanks to all my friends here and everyone who made it a beautiful community. Y'all rock. =)

Winter Break Goal

So, you know my recent mocs section in my signature? 4 out of 5 of the topics in there are, like, extremely old, because I haven't moced in a long time.   SO, I plan to refresh the list entirely, so that the first link, which was added yesterday, will be the last link on the list. And do it all be the end of January.   So expect some nice mocs from me soon. :>

Hey Excel

I already own the FULL VERSION of Microsoft Office 2007. How come every time I boot you up, you try to configure the the setup for the TRIAL VERSION? >   ...Apparently you can just close the box and it runs normally, though. :|

Killer Croc, Killer Prices

Man, if I kept some of my rarer figs in mint condition, I could make a fortune. Looked up prices for Killer Croc today, they cost $35, at least.   Shame no one's selling just the torso. That's all I need for my WIP Sobek minifig. D: And maybe some green hands too, assuming those exist.

Beat Spirit Trackls For Real This Time.

That was FUN. I loved it.   Funny though how I bought like two purple potions for the boss battle and needed neither one, nor did I need the Song of Healing. :| Well Beedle I hope you enjoy your rupees.   Best part is I hardly did any of the side quests, or even side areas, so I'll still have fun with all that. Good job to Nintendo for adding all that optional stuff unlike TwiPri where nearly everything that makes a good Zelda game was forced (I still love that game though <3). Take note o

Lego City Advent Callender Review?

I have this rule of mine: do NOT think about Christmas until Thanksgiving is over. If you say this is still too early, you probably haven't been to any retail stores in a while.   BUT ANYWAY, you know how some people with LEGO blog sites often get an advent calendar and then make a blog about what they get on that day? Yeah, never saw anyone do that here, so I was all like, "hey, why don't I do it?" (My apologies if anyone did and I never noticed. )   Of course I'll spoiler tag the stuff th

Lego City Advent Calendar Review: Day 13

Lol, my last three entries have been about this. I think I need more stuff to blog about.   » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «  It's another toy vehicle, this time it's a firetruck. It's pretty cool, although I think I liked the other toy vehicles better. Also, there's this big gap in the middle which looks weird, but it opens up some cool possibilities.     WHEEEEEEEEEE

Lego City Advent Callendar Review: Day 3

Yes I know I am late. Just pretend I'm not.   » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «  Well, it's a stakeboard and ramp for the kid who came yesterday. Pretty cool, and has one of those new 2x4 tiles. The green plate underneath is weird though, since it's too short and the ramp holds together fine without it.   So now let's ride it!     YYYYYEAH

Lego City Advent Calendar Review: Day 17

ALMOST done with my last college semester for the year! But by professor won't know if I take a quick break to post this...   » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «  This is ... a shower. I'm not really sure why it's included when the box's diorama is for a living room, but yeah. It also comes with spares for each knob and the two shower head pieces.     I wish I could do this when my snowmen pick up dirt from the ground.

I Am So Weird

When I eat pop-tarts, I eat off the sides, then take off the bottom crust and eat it, then it fold the frosted part over and eat it.   Am I the only one who does this?

Lego City Advent Calendar Review: Day 14

So I had snow last night. =D It wasn't a lot, although it sure did make the roads slippery...   » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «  This should be the last of the family figures in the calendar. Both her head and torso are new pieces for 2010, although not uncommon in City sets.   Also, that bread piece is cool (no spare bread though, but there was extra hair). I think it's stale, though, since it's hard as plastic.   Maybe you can't eat it, but it'll make good firewood.

Lego City Advent Calendar Review: Day 19

I guarantee this day's model is not as disturbing as yesterday's.   » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «  This appears to be an open train car. It's basic, but looks pretty nice. Also, there's a spare wheel, which is really great, cause I lost one from another set years ago.     As you can see, the printed tracks are carefully designed so that the train wheels fit on the rails. I'm not sure how well the trail can follow them until I get another car, though.   So uh, there's

The Government Creates Time Paradoxes

So like, at the time right before when Daylight savings time stops going into effect, it's a certain hour in the day, but when you roll the clock back, that last hour gets repeated on the clock.   Therefore, that adds an extra hour to the day, making the end of DST a 25 hour day.

Lego City Advent Calendar Review: Day 23

Sorry for the delays, I spent most of the day setting up my Christmas tree. It's looking really pretty. :3   » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «  Well I found this pretty ironic. I got a Lego tree on the same say I set up my family's! It's pretty impressive for an advent calendar tree, and much better than the last one I got in 2008. It's pretty similar to the 2009 calendar's tree, only less barren, and a little better shaped. I don't really like the square trunk, though, but

Lego City Advent Calendar Review: Day 10

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «  This seems to be the father of the kids from previous days. Looks pretty standard, but that V-neck sweater piece is actually pretty rare, only appearing in two sets, the other one being the hard-to-find #8404 Public Transport Station.   And as you might have expected, he comes with a spare hairpiece. So you can put it on the kid too...     Whoops, wrong kid.

Twilight Simphony Teasers

Oh my goodness.   YES.   Zelda Reorchestrated and company finally released a few sound clips of their over-the-top Twilight Princess project, and it is every bit as amazing as I had expected.   GO FIND THE CLIPS AND LISTEN RIGHT NOW OR THE TRIFORCE GETS IT.

Rss Feed

WHY HAVE I NEVER USED THIS BEFORE.   It's so much easier to use this instead of opening a bunch of tabs every time I want to check news and comic updates.   But if there any way to set custom icons for the feed icons on FireFox's bookmarks toolbar? The standard RSS folder icon is ugly.

Lego City Advent Calendar Review: Day 9

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «  I really like this miniature toy plane. Come to think of it, it looks like it may be a microscale model of the plane in #3182 Airport. NAnd now that I realized that, it's likely that day four's model was based on #7632 Crawler Crane.   Now let's get this plane off the ground, shall we?

Mad Science Meals

Tonight we had blueberry crumb cake made out of no-fat Betty Crocker muffin mix, cooked in a slow-cooker for an unspecified amount of time.   We figured it was gonna come out awful so we bought some crumb cake from the store just in case.   But nope, Frankencake actually tasted pretty good. So now we have all these extra snacks.   8D
