Well... today, nine years ago, ten-year-old me decided to join BZP after a few years of hanging around the news page. In that time I haven't even managed to rack up 1500 posts yet haha Anyway, new spinny I guess. I'm 19 now too, so here's hoping for another year 'til my tenth anniversary. Carry on BZP, and while my activity has gone down a ton lately, I still like this place quite a bit and hope you all won't be going anywhere anytime soon. I won't be.
After my many many many (cont'd) years of waiting, I am FINALLY getting a brand new guitar amplifier. The one I've got picked out is called a Line 6 Spider IV 75 watt. It's got 500 preset tones that are all editable, 200 of which are band presets for certain songs, including some great Coheed ones! =D They've also got a preset for Metallica's Master Of Puppets which'll work for that whole album, Nothing Else Matters, and Fade To Black, along with a ton of other artists.
Plus there's a quickl

Immature titles aside, this christmas rocked in terms of gifts. We're in the process of moving right now, so we had no tree, no decorations, etc. So really this year christmas was just about gifts. And family, of course. Anyway, here's what I ended up getting: -Ewok Attack lego set -USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-C) 1:1400 model kit -The Afterman limited edition Gold/Silver Vinyl pre-order by Coheed and Cambria -So Far, So Good... So What! picture vinyl by Megadeth -Master Of The Moon picture v
Today... Was a very bad day. First, I went to a town called Trail, to buy a fish. But I didn't find one I liked. Then, I checked the Zellers toy section for Mistika, and nothing. (I did scoop a Mantax for $4 though! ) So then, we went to Wal-Mart. And guess what? Mistika!!! And Takanuva!!! All of wich I have. No Mazeka, Vultraz, Or T's. VERY disapointing. Then my parents got mad at me for saying something, and the whole day went downhill from there.

My god what was that that was the best movie I have seen in a very, very long time. A long time ago I wistfully prayed for a movie that would follow the book word-for-word, and though it's been a while since I read it, I cannot think of anywhere it fell short. It was everything I had wanted it to be, and twice as good as the first one (which I thought was amazing). My singular gripe is so minor it almost doesn't even factor, but Johanna's hair was short and almost buzzed if I'm recalling t
Sort of. My mom and dad went on a vacation for their anniversary, so they left me and my sister at home. The international students we have living with us (I'll blog about that later) had to leave, so we got the whole house to ourselves... ...And I'm the oldest, so all the responsibility falls on me. It's not a whole lot, but I'm usually so forgetful and lazy that it seems like a fairly large task. Just trying not to mess anything up, and keep the place clean-ish. My sister, however, has ot
Well, sort of. It's still super in-the-works, with only a rough guitar track as a guide so far, but it's my fifth attempt at a song, and the first to retain its charm overnight. The opening riff is almost too fast for me too play, but after some practice I'll have it. Just gotta' find a program that can make synthetic instruments for bass and drums... Unfortunately I uploaded it to that one video site, so I can't link it. So much creativity is unnoticed because of that rule. Anyway, if anyone
Okay so I just saw this movie and I had heard some bad things about it and some good things, and it seemed like I'd like it but I'll be if that wasn't at the very least my second favourite movie of the year. it was just so good and sad and happy and heartwarming and cute and I actually liked a few of the songs (which is extremelely rare for me) and I really can't say enough about it, everyone should watch it if you enjoy such movies
Ran me about $870 CAD, what with tax and shipping and all, but luckily my dad helped out and paid for half of it (thanks dad). I saw this back in 2008 and knew I wanted it but was never interested in learning bass as anything more than a hobby. But now I find myself liking bass more than guitar, surprisingly, and figured I'd go with my dream guitar. It's gotten 5-star reviews accross the board without a single complaint and is super rare. I managed to order the only one currently available in
Welp I got behind as I knew I would. Work does that... Anyway I've got days 3 and 4 here for you, and I'll hopefully have 5 and 6 up tomorrow after said work. City first: As you can see, we get a pretty cool looking tree on day 3, and then on 4... stairs. Yes. And a wand, which is actually meant to go on top of the tree as the star. Although I understand the point, I was fairly disappointed with day 4. But ah well, all part of the big picture I suppose. Also you can see a peek of day 5'
So I just bought this set (Imperial V-Wing Starfighter) a few days ago. It's from the newest Star Wars line-up in 2011, and better yet, not a clone wars ship!
Anyway, I liked it so much I decided to make a review. So here we go.
The Box:
The front of the box for the new V-wing is pretty striking. The set flies through space behind a planet looking much like Mustafar, firing green blasters. Always found it odd that enemy ships had green lasers and rebel/clone ships had red ones...
Well, I went to the record store today to pick up a copy of Iron Maiden's Piece Of Mind (original '83 pressing) that I had put on layaway a few days ago. I had seen that earlier day aswell, Styx II by Styx along with In The Court Of The Crimson King and Beat by King Crimson. I went to set them aside for when I get paid on thursday, and decided I'd look around a bit more to see if there was anything new. Went to the "G" section, and while browsing found Peter Gabriel's first album. Thought to m
Well... Today was my 8-year anniversary on BZP. I joined this day back in 2004, in my wee noobish years (I was 9, holy carp) and somehow stuck around through the madness and managed to have next to nothing to show for it (look at my post count haha). So yeah... time to go admire the new spinny, and here's to another year, I suppose. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On day 14, we get a box and flames. I really hope this is an

I'm currently watching a lot of four Rush albums on vinyl, which are at $9.99 so far with $14 shipping. I'm really hoping I can snag this without it going too much over its current price...
well 2015 is officially over (thanks) and as I do every year, I'll list out my favourite musical offerings from the year. This year was a strange one, as many of my favourite bands released really solid records that I liked but never really got hooked on for some reason. I attribute it to my mental state through most of the year and not to the albums themselves though so with that in mind, here be the list: 1. Hand. Cannot. Erase. - Steven Wilson I've been a fan of Porcupine Tree for a co
Well, I'm going on a 4-day camping trip tomorrow, so I won't be around. I'll see if I can't get those Kohila and Venom drawings done while I'm there...
I have been waiting for this trip for months! So excited.
