so yeah my room's really small now and I have nowhere to put all my bionicles, so I packed them up when we moved here and they've been in storage for almost 2 years... with the return of bionicle I was feeling all nostalgic and had to bring them out, even if they have to go back in a few days. anyway here's some pictures of my collection as it looks at the moment (this is still only slightly more than half, there's all the larger sets in the long box I didn't take out and all the disassemble
me and my good buddy Takal were debating earlier about the difference between Earth and Stone elements, and we came to a disturbing discovery: earth and stone are basically the same (bye Onua) Gali can heat water (she did so in one of the early comic issues, forget which) which means she can also freeze it (bye Kopaka) following the same logic, Pohatu should be able to heat rock to create magma, and by extension, flames (this would be difficult I'd imagine, and nowhere near as practical as
Me, Iro: Spirit of Iron, and Onua of the swamp will be having a contest between the three of us, Sometime near the end of next week. (when I buy my premier membership) And it will be held here. This whole thing was Onua's Idea, And He apparently has his MoC completed Already.
We have also Decided to have these contests monthly, But Iro has not Agreed to that yet. In time, we may except more entries, But for the first time atleast, It will only be us Three. It will have three rounds, each havi
After all this time saying it looks boring/dumb, I kinda' think I should maybe try it first. However buying it is a pain so I dunno', I'll have to look into it. Might be fun though, even if I dislike the game, to roam around with friends and stuff. I dunno'.
early birthday gift from my parents. cost about $45, amazingly, for all the roboriders save Boss, two Tahus, Onua, Pohatu, Tahu Nuva, Onua Nuva and Lewa Nuva. Of course I already have multiples of the bionicle sets, this was mostly for the roboriders, but I never had onua or tahu's canisters and all the sets came with their promo material (posters, ad books) which I had long ago misplaced. So yay for that!
my family is destroying itself right now due to the insensitive and unexplainable actions of one member and this is going to be the worst christmas vacation ever if it continues the way things are going right now I don't even want to be at home. i want to just leave town for a few months and get away and live my life without worrying about some huge fight happening every night
Just had my 20th birthday last week and 3 days later my 10th BZP anniversary, and I totally forgot. I've officially been on this site for half of my life. Wow. Also I get a nice new tohu spinny, pretty thrilled about that.
That's right, just got an email from the Coheed And Cambria website officially announcing the first part of their upcoming double album, The Afterman. Volume one will be released in October, while volume two will come in February. For some reason, I've got a feeling these are going to be way better than their last album.
After a week of torturous anxiety and indecision I managed to ask out that girl I met. Turns out she has a boyfriend already and now I feel equal parts stupid and sad... My luck in this department does not seem to be existent. I don't want to whine about my problems but I need to get at least some of it out somewhere. It's difficult being sad and miserable but acting completely okay IRL. I don't want to be alone anymore.
So maybe I was bad and illegally downloaded the leak of this album because my special edition vinyl ws delayed. Then again, maybe not. aaaaaaaaanyway HOLY FREAKING CARP is it awesome. The Hard Sell, Number City, and Gravity's Union are all on a level of greatness that matches such Coheed classics as 21:13, The Willing Well II or Gravemakers & Gunslingers, while Away We Go and 2's My Favourite 1 are bouncy, upbeat poppy songs that just give you the urge to sing along. It's a lot ligh
Hey there bzp. long time no see. figured I'd just pop in and throw a little update for fun since it's going around. A lot has happened in the last few months since I last posted in this blog, so I'll split it into two categories: The Good Stuff: -Saw Avengers. Loved it (aside from bad opening CGI) -managed to collect all the 2015 BIONICE so far -made a lot of awesome friends at college this year, hung out with a lot of people and generally improved my social anxiety situation -graduated mu
Just finally got it after all these years. Made a male science officer (named Tom Nathan Xin ) for a captain and got a Centaur class ship (could've been worse I suppose) which I named the USS Nelson. I have no idea what I'm doing, been so long since I played games with a keyboard. Also the graphics are nowhere near as good as I had thought, but that's probably due to my computer's lack of a video card. Still, I think it'll be really fun once I get into it and get myself a better ship.
...they said there was a girl they wanted me to meet who was a female version of myself. They were right and now I don't know what to do. Even in just a friendship sense how do you even like... become friends with people on purpose? All the friendships I've ever made were complete accidents and random happenings. It's especially difficult because guess what happens when you put two shy, quiet people together and tell them to talk? Nothing, that's what.
Would anyone be able to steer me in the direction of a cool Star Wars DVD box set? I like my DVD collection to look nice and coherent with box sets rather than individual DVDs but all I can ever find for Star Wars is blu-ray. Anyone have one they'd recommend or know of a good one to get?
hey? I don't really know what to write, just figured I should write something... I guess I moved out to the city a year ago on my own and work in a recording studio now so that's some life updates. and my band's working on a new EP and a second album. oh also I missed my 13th anniversary of being a member of this site... 2004 feels like a lifetime ago and that's all I got! bye for who knows how long until I remember to post another one haha
So yeah I'm gonna do this thing where I list not necessarily my favourite musicians, or individuals that I think are the best, but more ones that inspire me personally, who got me reaching for higher things as a musician and who motivate me to do better. Again, not the best, not even always my favourites, just people whose playing/writing/even personality inspires me. Today I'm gonna start with women singers, and I'll go to males ad other instruments on other days. so here we go (this was go
picked up where I left off and now I'm almost through season 7 just watched "Heroes, Part 2" and I am so emotional right now why do shows feel the need to make me cry
...is what I've been listening to lately. Technically it's Symphonic Power metal, but I simplified it for you non-metal-nerds. Thing is, I've been enjoying the slow, calm ballads most. So Opera Metal minus the Metal equals... opera. SO yeah I'm enjoying opera now. The metalhead in me feels I should burn my metal card now.
possible tattoo idea... we'll have to see what happens. Either way I like it as an image. Props to anyone who can recognize at least half these symbols
