I walk into a Pokemon Center while playing White today, and I want to heal my Pokemon. When I talk to the nurse, she exclaims, "Hey! Today's your birthday!" and then proceeds to advertise Pokemon Centers by saying I should continue visiting them for many years to come.
I was like "whoa"
I obtained it today, at a pre-release event. It is beautiful. And waiting for hours with my good friends was so worth it.

sometimes I wonder why this is called a "daily" rant and I will wonder about that in every entry But I attended NYCC over the weekend, and had the chance to see the ever wonderful Kohaku! Lots of money was spent, mostly on anime merch/art and cute things, and then there's the free stuff I managed to get. Now I have one mess of a desk to deal with for a long time as I hold off on organizing it...
So today I went to a university library. Since it's a Saturday, it wasn't very crowded, but there were people there.
But... it was super quiet. Like, even very low whispering seemed like screaming in that extreme silence. It was so intimidating. D:

What have I been doing with my life recently? Besides an internship, I've been watching the Inazuma Eleven anime. I never would have thought that adorable kids who play crazy soccer would make me feel such strong emotions of joy and sadness. It's so many episodes and the sequel is ongoing, but that's good because I don't want to stop watching this beautiful and fun show. also Brickfair is soon but haha I've barely prepped for it I'm coming in kind of late anyways, so oh well. So my mom dragged me to Old Navy to buy some clothes for school (which starts Wednesday). While in Old Navy, the amazing song Safety Dance started playing in the store. And I was dancing to it. 8D

My family is in the process of moving this weekend, from the 2nd floor of our apartment building to the 5th. Pointless? Nope, the space is larger for my family (two bedrooms instead of one) and I get my own room. my own room But yes, this will be a tiring weekend. Dx
Tomorrow I depart for Boston for three days. It's just a trip to check out a few of the universities in Boston with my Saturday program peers, but I've been meaning to visit Boston at some point in my life and thus I am really excited to explore it once we're done with colleges. I'll bring my camera, but I'm one of those people who gets so caught up in a place that I forget to take pictures. National Novel Writing Month is in ten or less days now, and I'm still not ready for it. ;_; I have yet to title my novel, for one. I also need to name my locations (though Blade is helping with that... maybe). My characters need a little fine-tuning. My plot has some holes that need filling in. And I still need to get all my music set up. This is going to be one fun and stressful month...
First, thank you Black Six for giving away prototypes at Brickfair. I got a half-transparent Hau Nuva, and a prototype Thornax.
To add to that, I also got a Skopio set at Running of the Bulls (30 bucks baby), which means I finally own a set Thornax.

So I had to bring in two objects to art class to paint (in acrylic). One was a tiny superhero teddy bear. And the other was a ton of LEGO bricks (whose colors were carefully selected to go with the color scheme).
Painting the bricks has been pretty annoying, specifically mixing colors for tan bricks and painting the studs in general.
But I am proud of my painting so far.
Recently, while still in school, I had been feeling a bit stressed by the workload being assigned. But every day, when I turned on my computer, I was confronted with my desktop (1024x768).
And that picture made me smile every time, no matter what. <3
So my table in art class, despite our seats having been chosen by the teacher, is amazing. While painting, we all discuss and give each other relationship/dating advice... at least for those to whom it applies (not meeeee). But we sometimes have hilarious discussions. Best class ever.

I just can't seem to get used to the English names for the starters and the region in Pokemon Black & White. But then, when the game comes out, watch me be all cool with them. Just watch. xP
As a refresher, the Isshu region as we had known it is Unova in English, Tsutarja (grass) is Snivy, Pokabu (fire) is Tepig (the pig!), and Mijumaru (water) is Oshawatt.

Tomorrow is the last day of school before Spring Break starts for me! I'm so pumped for this break. I've been stressed out by schoolwork lately so this will be a wonderful rest for me.
Of course I still have my Saturday program this weekend, but then I don't have it the weekend after! ^^ (I should be writing a research paper for that right now)
But I have lots of plans for this break:
