Since my protagonist was little more than a sheet of cardboard in what I've written so far of my book, I decided that a new first two chapters after the prologue were totally necessary. This is the first, and it explores Orion's childhood. Enjoy.
CHAPTER ONE
Orion was a strange child. That went without question among the residents of the village.
Even from a young age, he was never quite normal. When the other elf children ran and hid and played war, or read books, or even talked, Orio
And I don't know why. Maybe because I labored away for hours at trying to make a Zamor Revolver pistol, and have as of yet gotten almost nowhere with making it work. Or because I dislike how my story has turned out, even with the new beginning - too cliche. I need something original to make it worth reading at all.
But I also went to Parkour class again for the first time in months, and that was good and fun.

Well, here's the logic.
I just got cast as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls.
In the Guys and Dolls movie, Sky Masterson was played by Marlon Brando.
Sky Masterson was also the Godfather.
Hence, I am the Godfather.

This weekend is full of plays... Friday night was the play of my old Middle School, Fiddler On The Roof which was really good. Last night was another musical that I attended to see a good friend in. And then tonight, I'm required to see a production for my school theater department, which happens tonight... 3 in as many days.

Well, ToM's entry pretty much just crushed any hopes of competition for the Alternate Terry contest.
In other news, I auditioned today for the upcoming production of Guys and Dolls - Hopefully I did well, considering I'm going for a lead on this one. But there's gonna be heavy competition; lots of very talented people are going for it this time around.
