Heard the name, dunno who he is though.

he's the guy from Dire Straits, don't recall offhand what role he plays in the band.

Lead guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He went on to have a solo career after dissolving the band in which he did (and does) the same things.

He's the Sultan of Swing of course

And you're sure it was him and not a look alike?

I know like three guys that look almost identical to Robert Downey Jr.
