So, as RPGC 14 fast approaches, one has to think about the many possible amazing entries that will be going up around that time. June will be a rather sporadic month for me, so I won't be around to analyze the contest day by day. Inside, I'm still debating whether or not I should re-enter Abyss.
Here's the situation:
- I'm leaving homeschool, and going to an actual highschool next school year. This will dampen my time on BZP.
- The school year starts in July because Arizonans are werd
I saw Up this afternoon. What an emotional film! I actually cried twice, once at the beginning when his wife died, and then at the end when he's looking through her old "adventure book". The animation was stunning, the humor was great, and the underlying theme was simple and sweet. Not to mention a hilarious Star Wars reference Go see Up if you haven't already.
My Pixar Rankings:
1. Ratatouille
2. Toy Story 2
3. Up
4. Wall-E
5. Finding Nemo
6. Toy Story
7. Monster's Inc

So, I walked into the mall to buy myself a fancy new DSi and guess what happens? Right as I walk in, the music changes to Never Gonna Give You Up. That's right. They Rickrolled an entire shopping center! The worst part is that my little brother has the song stuck in his head. >_< I can't walk down the hall without getting Rickrolled.
Somebody save me!
I just thought of something awesome. What if the LRB game doesn't come with guitars, or other instruments. What if you have to build the controllers yourself?! That would be amazing I'd buy that game.
EDIT: Accidentally drafted >_< Had to republish

First off. Happy New Year.
Secondly, as RPers, we don't write stories and create characters. No. We build worlds. But if your world is already completely built, what more can we add to it? Instead of giving us a skyscraper from the start, instead provide us with a foundation and let us be the architects. For that is what we truly are, architects of the pen.
Thanks to your votes, Villainous has won RPGC15! Special thanks goes out to Zyrox for suggesting the unique coding and helping me clean up the presentation, and to Spink for helping out with the finer mechanics of story driven RPGs, and to Robo for inadvertantly giving me the idea for a gameplay mechanic which I think you're really going to enjoy.

Critical Response to Villainous
After carefully assessing the situation in RPGC16, I have come to a conclusion. We fans of Villainous are at a very tricky spot. My apologies for such a long absence. *glares at computer and myriad of viruses* Now, in order to pull this off, guys we'll need all hands on deck. We will need to cross the Bridge and break through a Tangled Web while listening to a Midnight Requiem for a dream.
Who's with me?
So.. I got back from the Northern Arizona University Jazz Festival. It was superlative in a hyperbolic manner. Also, RPGRL show tonight. Check the topic for details!
To the recipient of this notice,
You have been selected from millions of other nefarious beings to join the prestigious Guild of Villains. We assure you that this is a great honor indeed. Only the most elite and powerful denizens of the universe are ever asked to enter it. If you wish to proceed you are to read the contents of the enclosed book, Villainous, and report to the Dark Tower of Metru-Nui within forty eight hours. If you refuse, you will be terminated and your body dealt with most
MWAHAHAHAHA! After months of preparation, my victory is nearly complete. I have won the RPG Contest Now I just have to wait until it ends >_> Looks like my cheating device worked this time. Last time, I tried pressing the win button and it broke half way through the finals, leaving me in fourth place.
These win devices are on sale at Wal-Mart. You can see a picture here.
I think B6 caught me sending one to Robo via UPS, and that's why he was DQed. Good thing 6 didn't reali
The actual plan was much more elaborate than seen here. I would have posted a blog entry about my mother's death. Sisen would have removed me from the judges and started a recruiting topic. I would have asked B6 to have me temporarily banned. It would all last a good two days, just for realism.
And yes, IF would have been closed.

EF's Quick and Simple Guide to God Modding
Step 1: Create a character with the powers of all the Hydruka combined into one being of pure awesomeness and ultimate ownage.
Step 2: Get this character approved through a combination of cookies and skittles.
Step 3: Proceed to wreak havoc upon the world as you spill buckets upon buckets of NPC blood.
Step 4: Save the day by rescuing the damsel in distress. (There always is one)
Step 5: Blow up the wor
My new RPG idea.

So if you want to add to the first list you can ask questions. I'll be taking them here, AIM, and the RPG Topic. Begin speculation!
Congrats to our winners! Lady K, Kagha, and Xccj, you all did a fine job. I, unfortunately did not place in the top three, but at least I was given honorable mention Romance is definitely not my strong point XD
Now! To wait for EC8....

Ya know, we talk an awful lot about what makes an RPG really successful. Interest, GM involvement, and Player interaction spring to mind. But what you don't hear about often is Game Structure.
You see, some games are just inherently built in a manner which is conducive to a large amount of posts. Games like Outbreak and BZProvince were built on quickly posting many small sequences, because their primary focus was in the heat of the battle. Obviously, the story carried weight too, and many
Yours truly just dominated at the National History Day regional competition with his awesome documentary. It makes me feel epic. B)
