Wow, I was not expecting this. I guess I've been doing something right though. Otherwise Black Six probably never would have noticed me.
The promotion topic is very reveling however, since it looks like there are quite a few people who have never heard of me. I'm not surprised though, since I mainly hang out in LGD, which isn't the most active forum. I also have the lowest post count of any current staff member. I'm not sure it's the lowest at a promotion though, since there are a couple

Yes that's orange, not yellow. I was reading a review on another site (sorry I can't link to it) and this popped up in the review. He specifically said it was orange.
BTW, It's not mine, otherwise I would have made a topic for it.
Edit: I guess it's not really an orange piece. Turns out it's really Keetorange with photography that makes it really look orange.
How many people would be interested in having a one day Boy Scout avvy and banner fad next Monday to celebrate the Boy Scouts of America's 100th Anniversary.
If anyone is interested I'll put together some different avvys and sig banners.
My Troop had elections last night. The only positions really elected were patrol leaders, the rest of them are appointed after people submit what positions they would like. We also rearranged the patrols.
I am now a Junior Assistant Scout Master/Web Master. I get the fun job of building the troop a web site. I had one started on geocities a while ago but then they are closing down the end of this month. I think I'm going to go with Webs.
It seems like my troop has been having an atte
"It was an early morning yesterday I was up before the dawn And I really have enjoyed my stay But I must be moving on" I guess had to come to this at some point. Over the last semester my free time had continually dwindled down until there was barely enough left for me to do a lot of the stuff I wanted to do. I finally hit a wall this semester as I've started working at my college's tutoring center. That combined with two of the more challenging and/or time consuming classes in my college's
About two weeks until my my premier membership runs out. I want to renew but I also want to get some more LEGO sets. My trip to the Jamboree is also trying to get my money too.
So many choices and so little money.

Yesterday was my Jamboree Troop's February meeting. I don't think we covered much. Maybe we did but it was mostly going over old stuff.
Some of the trips have been set now. Apparently we're going to be getting on the road at 3:00 A.M. to drive to the airport the day we're flying out. That should be fun. We may also get to tour the White House although we won't know if that will happen until a couple weeks before we leave.
They also made clear that no electronics, except cameras if you
As much as an update to the signature guidelines was needed, I don't think this was the way to do it. 800x300 is way too much space. Most other forums don't allow sigs that big. We go from one of the most restrictive to one of the most relaxed.
Some people say that this "big image fad" will only last for about a month or so. I hope they're right. If it doesn't I may seriously consider hiding all sigs. When I get on my computer, Ad Block Pus will be getting the url of every large ban
Does my post font seem too big? I thought I had it set to a good a size, but I've been using my laptop and it seems like it got a lot bigger even though I have changed anything. I'm wondering which other people see it.
At one point, there was this list of books that had gone viral and was spreading around various social networks. There were 100 books listed and you were suppose to mark those that you've read. A lot of them are books that could be assigned for English class, but there are some modern ones. At some point I would like to read through a lot of them, but there will be a few I'll probably have to skip.
The list along with it's formatting information is after the jump.
On Sunday I met with a counselor for the Personal Fitness merit badge. I got everything signed off for it. He was very impressed with the documentation I had for the work out program. Apparently he has had a lot of scouts who were extremely vague on what they did for it. He also said he would help me prepare for the Eagle Board when I get everything done.
While I was at camp this summer I earned the Emergency Preparedness merit badge. I am still waiting for the camp to send me the comple
Sunday was the second meeting of my Boy Scout National Jamboree Troop. I'm really starting to look forward to going to the Jamboree. We elected all of the youth leaders for the trip. I wanted to be the Assistant Senior Patrol Leader but I'm not as out going as the other people who ran so ended up not getting that position.
Both the people who were elected seem like good leaders and I think they'll end up doing a good job. I got elected to be my patrol's patrol leader.
BTW, If there i
Why didn't someone try to talk me out of taking college level Physics?
I'll probably survive, but this is the first class that will probably take this much work. At least the rest of my classes are relatively easy. Yeah for having almost no time for BZPower and the internet in general.
So as of last night parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin are in a high wind advisory. As of right now there is some wind where I live but it hasn't gotten too bad yet. It's raining though the weather really isn't that nice. It's just icky out.
I really wish I didn't have to work today.
Yesterday was the November meeting for my Jamboree Troop. There wasn't a parents meeting so I probably could have drove my self but the e-mail we got wasn't very clear.
We basically worked on team building and the patrols. We did a yurt circle. Basically every body stand in a circle and every other person leans in towards the center. Everyone else leans out. We also did a thing where everyone has to sit down with feet touching and then grabbing each other hands, stand up.
The is stil
I'm going to go up to North Dakota State University to tour their school on Friday. I'm not sure if I'll end up going there next fall, but it is one of my top choices.
My other choice is the New Jersey Institute of Technology. I'm not sure if I'm going to go out there to tour it though.
Not sure what exactly is wrong, but something happened to my knee during track practice on Monday and it hasn't felt right since. I've been icing it like crazy (relatively speaking) and hopefully it will heal up so I can start running again next week. I tried running yesterday, but that didn't really work out.
Maybe in a weird way this is a good thing, since it's forcing me to rest giving my shins some time heal too.
I needed a change of pace from my previous name. So I made my new name Newton's Second Law of Motion. Hopefully I won't hate by the end of the thirty days.
I also have a new blog theme, and a new approval that will be going out shortly.
Finished up Communications last night. Now all that's left is Family Life. That will be finished up as soon as my project is done. I'm staining the railings on the deck and it will probably take a couple weeks to get done. After that I'm done with everything.
Also, Pathfinding, I'm not sure if I'll get the other three historical merit badges. I know for a fact that I won't be getting signaler, I just don't have the time to learn the codes.
