NJIT sounds like a really odd choice. There are much better engineering schools out there, and at least three in New Jersey that are more acclaimed. Not to mention, Newark is not exactly a great place to want to live for four year either. I mean, it's a lot better than it used to be, but it's still not the safest.

You may be right. I'm looking at some reviews and it doesn't look like the greatest college. Safety is somewhat of an issue, although the college where I'm taking classes isn't really considered the safest either.

Do you have a recommended college, since I'm still looking.

Some engineering colleges that I know alumni from and offered decent programs:

• Stevens Institute of Technology
• Rutgers
• Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
• Rochester Institute of Technology
• Penn State

Rutgers looks tempting. The price also seems to be fairly reasonable. I may have to look into it.
