First week of classes finished up on Friday. This is probably going to be a fun semester, but it is also going to be more difficult than the last. It will probably work out though, since I always seem to adjust to whatever the workload happens to be. I did a few fun things over break in addition to work 40 hours over the three weeks. This will sort of be my end of year wrap-up, since I really haven't done much blogging lately. I just want to cover the highlights of the year, along with a few pictures. Right away in January I started my co-op in Manufacturing Engineering with Bobcat Company in Bismarck, ND. It was significant in more ways than one. Primarily, I mark this is the point where I officially moved out from my parents house. I had been gone at college since the fall of 2011 and had an apartment with 2-3 other guys
This is my 100th Blog entry. For anyone who has a blog here at BZPower it is a major milestone. I also made my 500th post today, for that is also major milestone.
My most commented entry was Two Merit Badges Left. My MLN Store entry has a few more comments but it's not really a real entry. It seems like on average any entries I make involving Boy Scouts get a more comments then entries on any other topic.

I watched the second showing of the premier earlier tonight. Seems like a good show. It won't go the way Hero's did for me since I don't have anything on Thursday nights this year.

I'm thinking about making a comic. I have the first panel almost finished although the most important part isn't finished. I also have to get some stuff before I can get past the first episode.
Time constraints will also be a big factor in this. I don't have a lot of time available for the rest of this month. Next weekend I'm going to be camping so most of it's not available.

I finished my final merit badge last night. Now I'm just working on collecting references and the final signatures and then my Eagle Scout Application will be sent off to the local council. It feels good to finally be done with every thing.
The only bad news is that it sounds like the local eagle board is swamped, so there could be a long delay before I get to be boarded. I have to be boarded before the 13th of September or I won't be able to get an Eagle Palm.
So now my room is finally clean. For the longest time stuff was just piling up, on the desk, on the shelf, and on the floor. All my previous attempts to clean met with failure because 50%-75% of the way through I lost my motivation and just quite.
This time it's different though. Everything is cleaned up now except my desk. That's because it's covered in LEGO that I'm using for my new MOC. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it this weekend, otherwise it may be a while because my schedule i

I have a job again, the same place as my previous job. I have money now, but most of it is not free. I'm still working on getting enough money for the Boy Scout Jamboree. In couple months I'll probably have all the money I need.
I think I going to get the canister Mata Nui pretty soon. I saw it in Target on Sunday and it looks pretty good.
We had a Boy Scout hike recently, which meant I was able to pull out my camera and take a few pictures. Just to note, the seconded was tweaked a little bit, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go up to my grandparents cabin. On the way there we're picking up my brother and sister from camp.
This should be a fun vacation. I plan on doing a lot of geocaching as this is my first trip up there since I started geocaching. I'm going to be running in a 1 mile race in Bemidiji, the big city somewhat near the cabin, Sunday morning. I'll also be doing some boating and swimming, no fishing though because I need a license and I don't have money to get one.
I've had a cough thing for the last couple of weeks, but now I'm probably sick for real. There's been something go through my family, two fo my siblings have had ear infections, one of my brothers had a temp over 100 degree, and my dad has pneumonia. I had a slight fever tonight, hopefully it's not worse in the morning because I really don't want to call in sick to work.
I also have a 5k I really want run Sunday night. If I'm still sick it won't happen though.
Since Sunday it has been raining on and off all week. It probably rained the hardest on Sunday. It was raining today and I had track practice. It actually wasn't too bad. It was rather refreshing. I've had two or three other practices in the year and both have been cold and I ended up getting soaked.
I've also had morning practice (starts at 6:30 AM, goes an hour) the last two days and I have it again tomorrow. Surprisingly I'm not tired right now. I remember being really tired after
This weekend I'm going to going on a trip up to Lake Superior with my Boy Scout Troop. I'm going to be doing some hiking and some geocaching. Geocaching is a lower priority since we already have a hike decided upon and so any geocaches found would be close to that route.
I may have pictures to show when I get back. That depends on whether I bring a camera or not. It should be a good time. I completed this hike about 3 years ago. There were only 5 people who went that time. This time
Since classes started I've been extremely busy. Most mornings are now spent in class at the local university and afternoons are spent doing homework. I haven't had time to much on the computer at all. Hopefully I'll adjust to the work load eventually but until that happens I won't be posting on here much.
It also doesn't help that the internet on my computer stopped working yesterday. I had time yesterday but my siblings were using the only computers.

The politics of the new LEGO Racing Challenge are getting interesting. All the old teams from the Drome Racing Challenge, Nitro, RED, HOT, Maverick, and Zero, has selected a new team to "take over" and adopt. I have "take over" in quotes because it really isn't taking over because there is no to take over from and I don't have a better word to use. A few people on the LEGO Message boards are resisting this "take over".

My final year of high school track & field started last Monday. I having a hard time believing that it's really been 3 years since I started. I've certainly made a lot of progress, both with speed and endurance, but this is my last year to really do something.

My Boy Scout Troop had a Court of Honor last night. We handed out all the awards earned by the troop member over the summer. Most of the merit badges were earned at our week long camp.
