It's been 30 minutes. Pat and I keep yelling at the phone, but he really can't hear us because he is talking to a customer. This is great. I bought 77 LEGO Friends minifigs off of ebay. They are all sealed factory rejects due to having paint errors, mismatched body parts, etc. They all also have very random head pieces, and going through all of them has been very fun. I am not entirely sure what I will do with all of them, but it should turn out pretty great. Here is a giant photo of all of them. It is kind of ridiculous. Highlights include: Bobbi Fett 2x. Instead of putting on sweatpants over their shorts like most people are prone to do when they're cold, I put on knee socks. It actually worked really well. And I was warm for the rest of last night, so it was probably one of the best ideas of the night. Yay, knee socks! (and 175 days until BrickFair!!!)

While I'm excited for the upcoming BrickFest (which I hope that many people I know will be able to attend!), I am really hoping that I'll be able to go to BrickFair 2011. My mom's attitude is that there is no way at all that I should go ever again, but I feel it's more of a money issue, than anything. So!

So, my friend and teammate in high school, Zach Abbott, qualified for the 2012 Paralympics in London. This is just way awesome, because it's been a goal of his since he was a kid to qualify for a Paralympics. Two of four images for a food project for studio photography. I started out initially with my theme being different black and white foods, but it became focused on Oreos as well. The first image is my close up, and the second is a mid shot. The third and fourth images (a place setting and an "unappetizing" but visually appealing") will be shot later this week once I get deep-frying Oreos down. Part 2 is here.
I walked after a bus through an airport parking lot for 15 minutes in order to see EW for about eight minutes, much to the amusement of my brother and EW's troop and probably EW as well as we were on the phone with each other the whole time. Yeahhhhhh finals. Working on a drawing. Drawing water with charcoal is not fun. Wooooooooooo. This is gonna be a lonnnnnnng night. But, my iPod is loaded with music, and if the battery conks out, I've got my laptop and wifi, and there's a midnight breakfast in my dining hall, so I hopefully will get this done as it's due tomorrow. Should I sleep in the art department? I do have an after-hours pass, so they technically can't kick me out. And there are some very comfy couches around here.
