got the SPACESHIP in the mail today and it was every bit as wonderful as advertised. surprisingly rare for LEGO movie sets, I couldn't spot a single error in how it compares to the one in the movie. This was originally supposed to be an interpretation of Mutran's Rahi/Matoran hybrid to fit the theme of Karda Nui for the LEGO convention things but its looking entirely too Rahi-like for that so idk what it is anymore. I'm pretty happy with it so far, though. (i dont know why i felt the need to build something for that theme considering i dont have the money to send anything to the conventions anyway)

went to a Caribou Coffee because i wasn't feelin' it at home and typed enough words for two days. Good to have a buffer for when the words aren't flowing quite as much.
