...thought automatically restarting a computer is a good idea. I mean seriously, there are absolutely no positives to automatically restarting a computer. It once happened to me while I was playing Fallout 3. I didn't see the message until it was too late. It just happened over night. I left my computer on to finish downloading Burnout Paradise. The computer restarted at some point overnight. Automatic restarts are a horrible, horrible idea. And apparently the version of Vista I have, Home
I was gonna make a Paradise City (from Burnout Paradise) themed blog for Blog Contest 2, but then when I went and re-read the rules I saw we can't do fictional places. ;___; At least I noticed before making graphics. :/
Though the reasons that I disliked the game before still stand, I could tolerate them a lot better. And I ended up really enjoying it. I'd like to get the second sometime. But before that, I want to beat it again. That will have to wait however, as New Vegas is out in 2 days, and that will be sucking up all my time. edit: actually i'll probably start the next playthrough for something to do ALSO downloading the ME2 demo so i can get a feel for what it's like
ARGH VALVE Y U MAKE COSTUMES HALLOWEEN ONLY I WANT TO WEAR MY MEDIC BACKPACK ALL YEAR ROUND also Viaduct is a terrible map also I NEED THE NEW PYRO SKULL MASK OMG
remember, DON'T BUY GAMES THAT AREN'T DAILY DEALS they might be a daily deal later in the sale, and if they aren't, just get them the last day That being said, there's lots of games on sale I want, but since I'll wait to see if they're Daily Deals, today I'll only be getting Lego Batman.
On another forum, I was reading this thread about mechs. And it made me nostalgia so hard about Gundam. So I started rewatching G Gundam (my favorite Gundam series that I've seen) online. *nostalgia*
A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away I made a vector of BZP's Tohu logo. (Some of you may or may not recognize it as the Steam group's picture.) I never got around to perfecting it (proportions are off and coloration is downright bad) and probably never will (I was originally planning to release it in GD with much fanfare), but if any of you want to use it, go right ahead. (click for fullsize) The image was created in Adobe Fireworks, if you open it in Fireworks, the actual vecto
Prototype was close to completion when I wrote the last entry, and I beat it soon after. Like I said before, really fun game and I recommend it. Then I played and beat Alan Wake over the next few days, as well as the 2 DLC levels that were included for free ("The Signal" and "The Writer"). Wow, it was great. I was doubtful of the whole "fight with light" thing, but it worked out really well. The fights felt tactical, challenging, occasionally stressful (in a good way), and perfectly paced. And
I decided to do a quest I had been neglecting for awhile, a Companion quest asking me to retrieve a fragment of Wuuthrad. The journey to the Silver Hand camp was unexciting, as was the cave itself... until I came face-to-face with the leader. Or should I say greatsword-to-face. His attacks packed quite a punch, and I found myself dying in just a few hits. After some trial-and-error, I managed to beat him by timing my attacks in order to evade his. I found a spell book for a Frost Atronach. Man i
I saw The Legend Reborn a few days ago. well The CGI was very well done and looked great. The voices were meh. The animation wasn't very good and really brought the movie down. Too many battles consisted of each fighter attacking each other without moving their feet. also ackar doing a billion frontflips in that one spin he did from that jump that one time It was a really good movie, but it could have been better. |-|\/|
My pal Josh was over today, and after a brief stint of Burnout Revenge and an episode of G Gundam, we forayed into Gears of War. Even though we both aren't used to shooting with controllers, we both had a ton of fun. Also it's neat he can sign into his Live account when we co-op and earn achievements.
So today I was playing TF2. After about two hours of playing and getting no items, I was raging. Then WHAMO! Glengarry Bonnet get! Which is nice because I've been playing Demoman a lot lately because of the update, and I already have all the Soldier unlocks. EYELANDER WANT. (I only need one more Demo achievement!) |-|\/|
I was on another message board about Batman: Arkham Asylumand somebody said this: nerds trolling other nerds about being a nerd on a nerd message board. WIN |-|\/|
I kept doing more misc quests, intent to clear the list out. (Except one is bugged and will always be there D:<) My adventures brought me to another cave filled with a forest. These caves are always so beautiful. I also found the Serpent Stone... but I already have the achievement for finding all 13 Stones. I guess achievements can't count. I did all the quests I had except picking a side in the war, so I decided to head to the only town I hadn't been to yet: Falkreath. I enter and learn that
I know. I need to stop doing this. But some of my conversations are just so awesome. I can't resist. I am weak. So anyway, this new challenger is the awesomest person evah: Shelby. :3 (11:36:15 PM) Me: I always feel the urge to get up and violently thrash about when a TBDM song comes on (11:36:27 PM) Josh: hahahahahahaha (11:36:29 PM) Josh: don't (11:36:34 PM) Me: I dont (11:36:39 PM) Josh: we need to hold your toungue first (11:36:42 PM) Me: I just thrash in my chair for a moment (11:36:47 PM
Any sound that comes out of it is so soft that it can't be heard unless I hold it up to my ear. It really ruins songs that rely on the left audio channel. Haz no happy.
I finished G Gundam in a week. Such a great series; it makes me wanna cry. IT TAUGHT ME YOU CAN SAVE THE UNIVERSE BY SAYING "I LOVE YOU" I think I''l rewatch Megas XLR next, then go through Gundam chronologically, starting with Mobile Suit Gundam.
