I've got a Lord of the Flies exam today in English, but I know I'll do good. Besides, there's a truckload of cookies, cake, candied pecans, and chocolate mousse waiting at home for me. *licks lips happily*
BTW: I found out yesterday that my cat likes eating my Rice Krispies. Apparently my mom caught her eating out of my bowl when I was at school.
. . . that this is cool.
Granted, the medallion came out bigger than I expected it to be, but I'm satisfied. Now you guys know what I'll be wearing for BrickCon '10.
I'm considering putting this in GA, but I'm happy just keeping this here.
. . . when you start designing Yu-Gi-Oh decks for them completely out of the blue.
Seriously. One minute me and my brother are sitting in the back of the car, and the next thing I know, we're talking about Spells and Traps and Effects and Summoning Levels for the decks we had in mind. By the time we went to sleep last night, we'd designed themed decks for The Legend of Zelda, Sonic the Hedgehog, and I'd whipped up a deck for my very own Toa Rohaya.
If this doesn't classify us as nerds, I
Cryoshell finally told us when the Denmark release date for their album will be, along with the fact they'll give two free songs away to those that friend them on Do not allude to things in the filter! -Kohaku before June 7, and BZP hasn't seen fit to put on the news page.
I can't be the only person who saw and reported!
After about four months of work, my Three Virtues necklace is almost done. I just need to drill a hole in it and add a chain, and I'm pretty much all set. B)
I'll snap pics when it's wearable. And no, I'm not making duplicates, or selling mine.
Start work on my Valentine's Day special Start the collaberation SS project Kagha and I are planning Outline a plot-guide for my senior project Wrap up Chapter 13 of Wings and post it. Seems managable to me. ^^
Last night was the end-of-season party for Zen's basketball team, held at the Rock (one of the awesomest pizza places EVAR, IMO). In between soda, pizza, Mario Bros, and cake (to quote UK, there really was a cake ), me and Zen learned one of his coaches used to be a game tester for Nintendo, and that he had tested Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.
It was around that time when I started actually enjoying the party, simply because I had something interesting to discuss.
Last night, after I'd logged off BZP, I was starting work on some of my SSs, when I accidentally picked up my dead MP3 (I've been borrowing my brother's until I figured out how to make iTunes cooperate with me). But when I turned it on . . . it turned on!
It wasn't dead after all!
(EDIT: No, I'm not copying Kiina with my entry title. )
Is it too early to start making a list? Not to me -- I've already got the present for my dad hidden in my sock drawer. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Batman: Arkham City Nintendo 3DS Personal laptop Transformers: Exiles iTunes & Barnes & Noble gift cards Transformers: Prime figures (specifically Arcee, Bumblebee, and Starscream) Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (yes I know it's not coming out until next year, but still -.-) And last, but not least:
Yay! I can make my alarm clock shut up for the rest of 2010!
Also, the whole 'life imitates art' thing was a throwback to something in Twelve Days of Holidays. In the story, my brother hangs mistletoe over my head multiple times (or gets other people to do it). Well, in the cafeteria, someone (I'm betting one of the other students) hung a plant sprig on the ceiling. It was holly, not mistletoe (to my knowledge, mistletoe has white berries), but I think it was obvious why it was there.

(Something of a rant ahead, with personal, recent references. You've been warned.) I think it's not a secret that I enjoy(ed) RPGs here -- I have an entire quote block here immortalizing quotations in various games I've been in, for crying out loud. My problem now, though, is that times are changing and I'm not changing with them, for good or for bad. Anyone else remember the days that when you joined an RPG, you were always given a chance to counter another player's post with your own, as
So I was in first period Chemistry (which is as cold as ever, BTW), and I finished a quiz on balancing equations (I'm pretty sure I passed; there's a reason it's my worst subject :annoyed2:). I should've been doing my chapter problems, but I was scribbling a piece of fanfiction instead.
I happened to look to a row of books Mr. Traxler has on his shelf, and I saw (and I so kid you not) The Dragon Reborn by Robert Jordan sitting on the shelf.

As if to top off my crummy day, I have to deal with all the people who got Halo: Reach -- which is the one game that made me want to trade in my 360.
Gah. Have fun with it, people; I'll have to wait a while before I can start playing.
(Also, no, I haven't gotten my preordered copy of A Thousand Suns yet -- fail)
I've been here for well over a week now, and aside from a heavy bout of homesickness on Sunday, I've been doing alright. My roommate's fairly quiet, but friendly enough. (She plays Minecraft, so props for her.) We're in a suite-style room, but unfortunately it doesn't make the room very big, since we have to share a bathroom with the other two girls on the bathroom's other side. They're alright, but they don't talk to us very much, save when it comes to things like the bathroom itself and who'
Mark said I would be struggling. Mark said I wouldn't finish it within this semester. He was right about the hard part.
Yet here I am, one month later, finally finished with reading The Iliad by the Greek poet Homer.
Man, was that a long story. Now on to try and find something else challenging to read.
