First week of school is over. Woo.

I really need to make a Catagory for Music, considering how many times it crops up in my entries.
Anyhoo, I'm now hooked on that new single of Rihanna's, "Rude Boy". I gotta admit, I can apply this song to a lot of my characters, including (but not limited to): Lauren Adrastos and Alexandria (Kingdom Gaeabionta) Amphitrite (to a point) (Lightning Strikes Twice) Stara (mostly because she had a similar attitude for a good part of her life) (Heroes and Halflings series)
I've finally decided how to pick Akaku's replacement.

I have Friday, Monday, and Tuesday off. Normally I'd spend that long weekend writing and hitting Xbox Live (especially since that weekend will have my brother being out of the house a lot), but since there's a slight possibility that I'll be spending a bit of time in Portland, perhaps I won't be on as much.
. . . except I felt I had to make a blog entry.
So yah. However, I'm expected to get my Noble Mask of Silence (in solid bronze) back from Mr. Walker either tomorrow or Wednsday; hopefully tomorrow.
Aaaaand I have to take the PSAT in two days. >.< That's put a dampener on things.

So I've finally converted the story fragment I recently dug up into a Word doc. To read it, drop down the spoiler tag, but if you're too lazy to do that, here's basically what happens: Ariadne, Stara's right-hand Matoran, talks to her friend and one of the few, non-Xi-Matoran residents of Xi-Koro, Kouki. However, there is much more to be gained by reading it. I'm not sure where this would have gone; probably somewhere in Chapter 11.

So yeah, I just had my computer time (and thusly, my internet time) sharply reduced until I can hike up my French grades. >.< Apologies to the Retribution crew; I'll post when I can.
Stealing the line of some insurance company aside (can't remember the name ), Valentine's Day stuff is already on sale in a bunch of stores in my area. And to top it off, I already have the set plan for my Valentine's Day special.

So I'm actually doing what I've been toying with doing, and that's taking commissions for various Metals projects. The money will go to fund various things in real life (yes, Akaku, that includes Reach), so here's how it goes.

It has been snowing pretty hard outside since 1st period, and I can't stop looking out the window. It's beautiful outside. =D Granted, it's not sticking, but hey -- it's a nice way to end February, and it's provoking a lot of singing of "Let It Snow" in and out of class. EDIT: Scratch what I said about it not sticking; it's starting to pile up. Maybe my starting to listen to Daft Punk had something to do with it. xD
As promised. =) This is Andy; he's the older of the pair at 2 1/2 years old. He's polydactyl, so he has an extra toe on both of his front paws (not that you could tell here -- sorry). He's also really funny when it comes to catnip. This is Pebbles; she's seven months old. Andy keeps following her around when he sees her, though she's not sure what to think of him right now. Despite the fact she's closer to kittenhood, Andy's a bit more rambunctious than she is -- but she makes up for
It's not bad, actually, though it'll take some time for me to get used to Kirby being made up of yarn now. My main peeve is that Zen keeps trying to boss me around when we play together, but that has nothing to do with the game itself. I'm told Meta Knight will show up, which will make my day when we get there.

I officially have the rights to make Kagha and Akaku's birthday topics when they roll around. Anyone who steals the topics from me will be executed in the most gruesome manner I can imagine. Tomorrow is the National Day of Silence, which I've been observing ever since I heard of it. During that time, I will be off of AIM, most likely XBL too, and my posts on various forums will be kept to a minimum.

In 13 days, I'll be going more or less offline for about a week and three days. I'll only be on long enough to check PMs, maybe write an IC or two in Alignment, and possibly post a chapter of Wings, assuming I get it done. Why?
