People who know me know I like writing holiday specials. And I had one -- it's just not something I could post in the SS forum right now.

10 days until the last school day of this calender year (for me at least).
Anyway . . the day after that, the 19th of December, I'll be gone from the computer for a week, since my family decided to go to Hawaii for winter vaycay this year. Why? Because we can.
So ya. Just as a (very early) heads-up, don't expect me to be on at all during that week.
I'm considering starting a logic puzzle contest or such here in my blog. I've got a book of those things, which my family, Rockhound, and Robo can all testify have tough questions. Give you guys a week to work on it, with the clues attached, and then reveal that week's winner and the answer a week later?

After a few years of letting it fement in my brain, the ideas I've been toying with are almost falling into place for a book I'm thinking about writing. The first chapter is flowing smoothly (or would, if I wasn't mildly distracted by English homework[/understatement]), and I was wondering: Anyone care to lend a few opinions of it once I have it in a Word doc?

I recently dug up a paper draft for LST, containing an unfinished idea for one of the chapters. (Or whatever authors call "deleted scenes" ) I haven't looked at it for a while (hence why it never made it into LST), but it seems pretty interesting now that I'm looking back on it.
Anybody want to see it? Or should I just keep it in the vault?

See, I've been overhauling H&H, since I think it could improve it. But I'm not sure if I want to completely erase my original content in the old topic.
Should I just make a new topic for the revamped version, when I'm ready for it?
My Valentine's Day special (tentively titled Luck of the Draw) has been suspended until further notice; most likely it will be ressurected later in the year as a non-special-related SS.
Why? The answer is two-fold. Reason 1: My Halloween epic, Break of Day, is currently struggling through a case of Writer's Block, and I don't want another special on my case.
Reason 2: There is a pivotal point coming up in Wings (Chapter 11, if you want to know), and I have a companion fic planned for it. I

I have a list of writing goals I'd like to make progress on in Hawaii. (Two days, people!) They are as follows: Finish details and chapter plan for the LST sequel Work on chapter plan for a Sonic the Hedgehog fic, tentively titled Their World Work on paper draft for the SS Beautiful Nightmares Work on paper draft for the fifth chapter of HitM Work on chapter plan for a Ben Ten fic that's being posted on another site. So yeah. I won't be spending all my time in paradise hang-gliding and surfing.
Now that I'm no longer lagged (while I still have the occasional headache, I can probably blame that on the heat), I can go into detail.
For one thing, this place is very inspiring. I can't think of the last time I did this much writing/planning in such a short amount of time. I'm already mostly done with the chapter plans for Wings, even though it's probably gonne wind up muuuuch longer than LST and H&H have been.

It took longer than I anticipated, but BZP has returned! I'll be working on restoring my stories. I'll mostly focus on the epics that are still in progress, like Wings and Break of Day, and I'll link to my old library and old topics for all the rest, since I don't want to repost all of that when I've got a perfectly-good archive sitting around. As for my sticking-around, well, that's up to debate. I've been spending more time on other forums during the upgrade, so if things don't work out
