It has been snowing pretty hard outside since 1st period, and I can't stop looking out the window. It's beautiful outside. =D Granted, it's not sticking, but hey -- it's a nice way to end February, and it's provoking a lot of singing of "Let It Snow" in and out of class. EDIT: Scratch what I said about it not sticking; it's starting to pile up. Maybe my starting to listen to Daft Punk had something to do with it. xD
*raises glass of sparkling cider*
Happy Turkey Day, guys! ^^ What I'm thankful for: Family Friends (that includes the lot of you here ) BZPower I lack the motivation to say any more.
I just have to endure one more week (plus finals -- ugh!), and then I'm all done with sophomore year at high school.
Also, I have all the parts of the Kirop set in bronze now. Me and Mark just need to figure out how to get the pieces together, and then he'll be ready for his first real photoshoot. B)
EDIT: And I only just realized that I have my Avohkii.
I got a note from my grandma today, containing an ad that showcased a short stories contest judged by British author Jeffrey Archer (for whom the contest is named after). What really excited me was the grand prize ... a publishing contract with St. Martin's Press, which is what any aspiring author wants to have.
Naturally, I wanted to enter, and I was working on what would've been my entry (incidentally sweeping the Summer Library Olympics from my mind) when my mom and I looked up the contest
Why I am even surprised now? I should've expected Sumiki to win yet again.
Answer: The French tested their artillery by firing some shots into the mountains. This caused avalanches that killed many soldiers on both sides.

I now am in possession of the most expensive piece of paper in the world: a United States college degree. Go me. Time to find a job and prepare for the crushing weight of debts. Hopefully I can update Reborn soon; I have all the pieces for the next chapter here, they just need to be put on paper.
Sumiki hit last week's bang on the head. All he forgot was that he got a one-year suspended prison sentence.
Round Five

The recent news thing has rekindled my hope that they'll actually release their CD soon. Watching video now . . .
EDIT: Video watched. Not as creepy as some other members claimed in the Talkback, but it looked pretty awesome. =)
I am now free from spoilers. (Though the most I got from trawling tumblr was that Kylo Ren out-wangsted Anakin.) Tagged for those who haven't seen it, my thoughts.
My package of replacement Kakamas arrived today, and had more than just masks in there. ^^ Total List: 8 different-colored '01 Kakamas (white, mata blue, black, gold, gunmetal, dark brown, Hewkii-brown, and teal) Nuva-symbol stickers Original March 2004 Bionicle comic (In the Grip of the Morbuzahk) Whoever sent these to me can consider himself on my list of awesome people. ^^
Sumiki won again!
Answer: The police put up a sign warning people about pickpockets. When people looked though their pockets and bags for their valuables because of the sign, the criminals knew exactly where those items were so they could steal them.

So, I added Zahaki to the Toa Seneca, under the label of "Unofficial Honorary." Potu'll be next once I can get a solid link to her profile. Potu's added. =D (Happy now, Akaku?)
SS Contest: 1: Tolkien
2: Kumata Nuva
3: Grant-Sud
Comedies Contest: 1: Snoopy82
2: Lewa0111
3: Gerlicky
Just the epics contest left to learn about the winners ... congrats, winners and Honorable Mentions! (Check the Olympics topic for those )
(And yes, I am a tad irritated that I didn't win anything in the SS portion -- the only one I entered in -- but oh well. There's always next time ...)
The new RPG is finally up! Granted, I have to wait for me to get started, but still:
*crankiness over her Hawkeye incident earlier (along with the fact her Nano is actually good for something now, since it's holding five episodes of Mythbusters) vanishes*
My mom brought home a poster of a litter of golden retriever puppies that are up for sale. We both squealed like little kids at the pictures. Cute wittle puppies . . .
It's our burning ambition to convince my dad to get a puppy. No luck so far, sadly.
Well, I carried out my threat to write a second part for I Love The World.
Also, I'm recently experiencing an out-of-body feeling, due to something that has happened to me. Nothing too terrible, but it was so out of the blue that I'm a little dazed.
So my English teacher finally got back from his trip to Canada (he apparently didn't get the memo that spring break ended three days ago ), and my class shared our Brags and Bombs for Spring Break.
Apparently, one of my classmates got her permit (note to self: keep an eye on the roads more often), and a lot of us wound up babysitting our siblings for little or no pay (sadly, I was part of that group ). But what really took the cake was what my friend Kathy experienced.
At Sakura-Con over t
I got back from my grad night party about .... three-ish hours ago? XD Still tired despite catnapping in certain parts of it. Might get a few more winks before I do anything productive today. Definately a lot of fun, though I still would've liked to have kept my internal clock intact by the end of it. =P Anyway, my high school years are officially over; might throw up a picture my mom took of me after commencement. (Which, incidentally, had a med-evac helicopter land nearby during the last h
Last week's winner: Necro, who hit the answer bang on the head(well, mostly).
Answer: The man was a diplomatic courier and he visited the embassies of 30 countries, all situated in Washington. In law, an embassy is part of the country of the embassy and not part of the country it is situated in.
