If I appear but don't respond/accept to party invites, that's usually a clear sign that I won't be sticking around for very long.
Take last night, when my dad and I tried and failed to deactivate the setting that requires his password for me to approve friend requests. (Naturally, I realized how to do so only after we gave up and went to sleep. >.<)

So, after a session with a Dell tech helper (in which he remotely accessed my laptop -- any Mass Effect 2 jokes will result in the joker being shot), apparently my hard drive is the root of the problem. While he managed to do a temporary fix, I need a new drive. One option was to send my laptop to the Dell depot to get it fixed, but it'd take over two weeks. The other was to pay a fee and get a tech to reinstall. Normally I'd go for the free option, but since it'd be cutting it close to when

As promised. =) This is Andy; he's the older of the pair at 2 1/2 years old. He's polydactyl, so he has an extra toe on both of his front paws (not that you could tell here -- sorry). I just wish it was under happier circumstances. ;_; My 18-year-old cat is very sick: she has fluid in her lungs, and its making her breathing very labored. She's on three different medications, but she's very dehydrated and has lost a lot of weight. She can barely stand or walk, let alone climb onto the couch or my bed. We're hoping that she can recover, or at least start recovering, by the time I go back to Western on Sunday, but at her age, it's difficult to say.
Mark said I would be struggling. Mark said I wouldn't finish it within this semester. He was right about the hard part.
Yet here I am, one month later, finally finished with reading The Iliad by the Greek poet Homer.
Man, was that a long story. Now on to try and find something else challenging to read.

About a week ago I got my hands on Revan and read it. I'm happy with it, especially since it tells the story of how Canderous became Mandalore, but I'm sad: both because of the fate of Revan and the Exile, and because HK was only mentioned in the book. Goodness knows how I miss him and his lines. (Another annoying thing? Atris was in the book. And she's the same obnoxious Code-thumper she was in KOTOR II. )
