I'm throughly annoyed with my brother right now.
Bad enough that he's turning twelve tomorrow and when that comes he'll be playing his birthday copy of SoulSilver on MY DS (since he's taking forever about paying for repairs for his own), and that I've had to spend most of the afternoon making his cake. But apparently, he just doesn't get the fact that my stuff is MY STUFF.

Ever since I heard of Akaku's reasons to leave us (particuarly that BZP would "implode now that Bionicle is over"), I started wondering if he was right, and I decided (rather quickly) that he wasn't.
After all, even though the line is canceled, and the story may be ending soon, it doesn't mean this fabulous site will. Even after all in the canon line is said and done, there will still be fanfics to be written, games to be played, MOCs to make, art/comics to make a fuss over, and transactions

Well, my brother got his SoulSilver last night. His only problem is that he can't play it yet.
See, his DS, as I might've mentioned earlier, broke and he's been using mine. Its not too bad, but since he's been taking my other stuff without permission, I took out all the games he stuck in mine and hid it in my room. But now he's looking for it.

On another note, I purchased a new MP3 -- a red one -- to take my old one's place. We're having a little trouble cooperating right now, but I'm sure we'll have things smoothed over by the time I go back to school. ^^
Even though I'm only a sophomore, I'm already getting hit with educational opprotunities.
A few weeks back, I got a letter from a person that has some adminatrative role at the Willamette University in Salem, OR; apparently they've got an eye on me already. And today in the mail, I got a letter from the People To People -- which is a Washington "educational exploration program" -- offering me an invitation to travel and study abroad in Japan next summer.
Very weird, yet very cool.
10 days until the last school day of this calender year (for me at least).
Anyway . . the day after that, the 19th of December, I'll be gone from the computer for a week, since my family decided to go to Hawaii for winter vaycay this year. Why? Because we can.
So ya. Just as a (very early) heads-up, don't expect me to be on at all during that week.

OK, I know it offically started today, but that's when I'll be able to visit.
Well, here we go again. Nothing changed on my schedule (which is a good thing; I was worried I might not get a second semester of Metals ).
Oh, and if the message on the big neon-thing hanging above the office can be counted on, I have 20 more weeks of school until summer.
. . . Is it just me, or is this year going by way too quickly?
I'm going alright with the next LST chapter, but I'm not spending as much time on it as I oughta be. If you guys have any motivational words, bribes, or just go and kick my butt about working more diligently on it (and on my homework and school newspaper too, while you're at it ), that'd be awesome.
BrickCon. I'll be coming this year. And I won't be alone. I'm still sorting out the transportation thing, but I think we'll be taking the bus downtown, so we don't need to worry about driving and trying to find parking. Sure, there'll be more walking that way, but that's not as bad as the alternative. Hmm ... I'll probably wear my Kohrak-Kal shield ring there, and maybe string my bronze Shelek into a necklace so I can bring that along. Anyone else coming this year?
