Here we are, the students of our school, eating lunch all together and excited for the assembly ... and then some smart one decided to pull the fire alarm.
Way to kill the mood.
Thankfully, the assembly is still on (though we have a severely shortened lunch thanks to the whole incident, much to the distress of those who were still eating at the time), so I'll see you later.
I'll probably totally fail at it, but I'm entering NaNoWriMo, if only for the possibility of it motivating me into writing that novel I've been toying with all summer.
We have tolerated Zarayna for a long time now, my friends. But he continues to try and subvert what makes us great. Just moments ago, Akaku informed me he has broken into Seneca's Keep again and stolen our refrigerator!
Too long, Toa Seneca. Far too long now, and we will rise up to reclaim our glory from an upstart that would humiliate us!
To arms, Toa Seneca!
(OOC: For those starting to get worried, this is strictly 'kidding around'. If this was for real, there would be nothing left of
So I keep hearing about Nanowrimo from people here that are doing it. It sounds like something I could pull off ... I just have two questions.
What the Karzahni is Nanowrimo, and is it on some website?
Chapter One of Project Harvest Moon (otherwise known as Break of Day) is almost complete! While I can promise that it will begin before Saturday, I address certain members of the Toa Seneca (they know who they are) when I ask to complete their parts soon. I especially say this towards Kagha, assuming he's even reading this, since most of the other have started if not finished their portions.
Let's do this.[/probably failing motivational speech]

(Apologies in advance for the huge pictures and slow loading time; I haven't been able to figure out how to shrink them down. >.<)
So yes, there's some of the pictures I took of my Bronze Kirop, which xccj kindly sent back to me from BrickCon (thanks again, buddy!). The fifth picture isn't of Kirop per se, but they were things I got from his presense. I bought the green Kaukau from BrickCon; the other three were a
Good News: I found a Nintendo 64 version of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time at Half-Price Books A Halloween store near aforementioned bookstore gave me ideas for more nonfunctional jewelry (imagine mini battleaxes hanging from your earlobes) I found out Deadliest Catch won't die from lack of Sig and the Hilstrands, because they're back in the show. =D I finally got around to typing up a SS I've been working on since forever Saw a really cool bird exhibition at the library today, which included
New season started last night. It was Dog Myths Part 2, with Beat the Bloodhound (Part 2) and Beat the Sniffer Dog. In the end, though, the Mythbusters just couldn't beat the canines and their handlers. B)
Next week: Apparently, they're doing tornado myths again, and calling in the Stormchasers from the Discovery Channel show to help them out.
=D
I already heard this particular rumor, but apparently while speaking to Oprah, J.K. Rowling hinted she might be writing another book for HP.
I'm not sure if she was talking about the encyclopedia (or, as she called it, the Scottish Book) or an actual novel, but it's interesting to think about.
First and foremost: *kicks everyone who yelled "This is Sparta!" into pit, since this was BrickCon*
Secondly, that was awesome madness that went down in the Exhibition Hall today. Sadly, I wasn't able to get pictures, since the camera my mom loaned me died when I got there (), so no pictures from me.
That being said, my time at Con today was probably the best out of the three years I've gone, possibly because of the presense of EmperorWhenua. Case in point: Our BZP Meet-and-Greet had a sma
Yes, I know I'm a couple of days from going. But, as it started today, I felt like posting a poem I wrote last year which centered on last year's Con. (Reason I haven't posted it until now was because I wasn't sure where it would go. )

But we don’t notice or care
It’s what we’ve been waiting for

As if it wasn't enough my family spent last Christmas in Kauai and we're going on a cruise next spring, apparently we're skipping town Veteran's Day weekend and heading for the Strip. What a great way to celebrate a time of memorial.
...
=P
This'll be awesome.
The one day I don't have school is the day I need to be there.
(This is mostly for reasons involving a BZP friend having their birthday on Friday, and I want to be there in the morning to make the topic ... which is something I can't do at home presently, since I have time restrictions. -.-)
... and like a butterfly to another sweet-smelling flower, I jump from The Red Pyramid to another fantastic book that was started and completed within twelve hours. This time, though, it was three long books in one -- and in a way, as creepy as all three Stephen King books I've read.
The Forbidden Game books, written by L.J. Smith (the person who wrote The Vampire Diaries, in case you cared to know), center around seven friends who play a game at a birthday party for one of them. The game --
Here's the thing: you know that "Welcome" content block in here? I wrote that up for the heck of it, but now, after my completion of The Forbidden Game books ... it gave me an idea for a multi-chapter Halloween special. Whether I post it as an epic or as a serial here in my blog ... it doesn't matter. This will be awesome.
*dashes off to use ideas*
(PS: If anyone wants to help me in this, comment below. I need at least three other characters to accompany the main characters; they can be ba
So what if I still don't have A Thousand Suns (Apparently the rest of the shipment is on its way, but the CD is gonna be delayed for a few more days ... this is the last time I preorder something from Barnes & Noble) -- Season 2 of one of my favorite cartoons starts this Saturday!
