Silence

I see a deep darkness And a distant town Murmurs of unknown words Slowly wander around Gather up the sadness Of the young lost child Hope remains within his heart As he sets out No matter where I am I will still be your life I will bring you peace again A warm-hearted moment And a warm-hearted dream Simply close your eyes and rest And once more you'll see I can glimpse the smile Of that long lost child There is no reason why or how But it's there even now If I call

Honestly

My blog really doesn't deserve that 4.3-star rating it has. I'm still trying to figure out how it got that high, or even how that many people voted.

A Story

Well, see, there are these people.   They've all got a lot of mental issues.   Well, most of them die. And...I think there's a moral in there somewhere.   End.   ...       *sniff* That story gets me every time...

All the information is in the title, except for the information that's not in the title.   Discuss.

The Bridge Of Khazad Dum

It's the saddest chapter in all of the Lord of the Rings.   I mean, why does the poor Balrog have to die?   After all, out of every Lord of the Rings character, the Balrog only comes second to Nob in the complexity of his thoughts and motivations. It's a shame he got killed off just when we were getting to know him.

Night Of The Funeral

Hinawa ;_;   Probably no one knows what I'm talking about, but ah well.   Hmm, I just noticed my blog has a 4-star rating, or rather, a rating at all. Nifty.

I Sit Beside The Fire And Think

I sit beside the fire and think Of all that I have seen, Of meadow-flowers and butterflies In summers there have been;   Of yellow leaves and gossamer In autumns that there were, With morning mist and silver sun And wind upon my hair.   I sit beside the fire and think Of how the world will be When winter comes without a spring That I shall ever see.   For still there are so many things That I have never seen: In every wood in every spring There is a different green.   I sit besid

Through ice and through fire A wilderness of stone With dreams and desires I have come alone Seeking the answers Only you could know Show me the wisdom of the world Tell me the secrets of the heart And the sweet mysteries of love Come fill my eyes with visions So that I may see Reveal the ancient powers Whisper them to me Here I stand before you Ready to receive Show me the wisdom of the world Tell me the secrets of the heart And the sweet mysteries of love Does a place

The Tortoise

Yup, so I've got a tortoise who lives in my backyard. He's lived there for around 2 and a half years, but he doesn't really have a name yet, besides "The Turtle" because turtle sounds better than tortoise. So, here he is.

So I Heard...

1 out of 10 people actually know what they're talking about.   And 9.9 out of 11 people are indifferent to this statistic.   Then again, 2 out of 3 statistics are made up on the spot.   So...wait...what?

The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare

Abridged, that is.   But anyways, I saw it. That was one insane play. Some of my favorite parts would have to be:   "Then Shakespeare invaded Poland."   "I had a weird dream last night. We were in our first performance, and we were doing pretty well, but then we realized we hadn't read most of the plays we were performing...and the audience knew more about them then we did...so we were just making it up as we went along..."   "Die, you incestuous, murderous, cross-dressing beast!"

A Little Reminder

Now, this entry was originally going to have another point to it, but I forgot what that was. So good morning/whenever you're reading this, and just remember:     He's always watching.

The Shadow Of The Past

Gandalf has about ten different great quotes all together in this chapter. Seriously.   "So now, when its master was awake once more and sending out his dark thought from Mirkwood, the Ring abandoned Gollum. Only to be picked up by the most unlikely unperson imaginable: Bilbo from the Shire! Behind that there was something else at work, beyond any design of the Ring-maker. I can put it no plainer than by saying that Bilbo was meant to find the Ring, and not by its maker. In which case you also

Lord Of The Rings

Well, I've decided to read the Lord of the Rings for the second time, so expect comments about it on occasion.   The only other person in my family that's read it is my 19-year-old sister. Everyone else finds it too dull. =\
