I made a sand blue and white Metru-based MOC. I think that Imma post the teal and white one and the sand blue and white one together and they will be called:
THE WHITE AND DISCONTINUED COLOR ELITE SPECIAL OPS TEAM SQUADRON TEAM KITTEH FORCE!
I was just thinking of some stuff I want in 2010:
-I want more old colors brought back like tan was
-New torso
-New Armor
-More Recolors
-Buildable weapons like Vastus's
-New feet
-More Vahki hip joints in other colors
-Kanohi brought back like Tahu Star's Hau
It's a lot, I know. It's what I really hope we get in the coming years, though.
I'm making a yellow elephant in MOC form. Yup. I was just playing around with pieces, and I made a good head. I added a trunk, and it looked fine. I also made a torso for it. The limbs aren't coming along as well, but it'll work. I'm also nearly finished with a teal and white MOC. Expect that sometime soon.
This week's epic win is October. It's awesome on so many levels. Let me rattle of all of MY reasons why.
-Columbus Day and Yom Kippur (even though I'm Catholic, I go to a public school)=two 3-day weekends
-I have a book fair on wednesday
-Football season
-Major League Baseball post-season (i.e. the World Series)
-Halloween
-the anticipation of 2010 LEGO sets is building up
So yeah. October is awesome for me.
Okay, so this one didn't come from Brickshelf. It came from flickr. Click here for the full sized pic. This MOC is coming from flickr member Tekka Croe. The color and piece usage is awesome, right?
I was walking out of one of my classes yesterday. As I was going down the hallway, someone ran by and yelled "AARON! YOU STILL OWE ME A HUG!" And then I was all and then I was like
I just played a football game this morning. We won big and everyone played well, including me. AND we got to play on the varsity high school field, which is this awesome artificial field turf, and there were grandstands there too.
Yes, it's that time again. This MOC is coming from Brickshelf member... Neriko. It's a Tahu Mata revamp thing. I love the use of the Mata torso, it's something that should always be there on a Mata revamp. The piece pretty much defined the Toa Mata, unlike the Inika torso. The limb designs are great, as is the color balance. The armor is great too.
It's POURING here, so my school football team had indoor practice today. It was AWESOME. All we did were stretches and agilities. This was the easiest practice yet.
Dunno if anyone else has noticed this but:
It appears that LEGO now offers a more refined version of LEGO Factory, now called DesignByMe.
I don't really get what this is all about, but it's new. So yea.
