So, I want to make a picture of Colm as the bishop of Digne my avatar. On the other hand, I'm not sure if it's too religious for BZP (Roman collar + pectoral cross).... So torn.
Do not, ever, ever, take up Do not bypass the filter! -Kohaku perpetual question (what's on your mind?) on 9/11. People are hardly rational on any day, especially on that. On the bright side, I have learned that I can take people I've known for ages insulting me to my face without getting anything more than mildly annoyed. I think my chat debates are paying off!
And I speak from experience. I just finished tweaking with Mount&Blade until my character could run literally almost as fast as an arrow. I also edited my character's weapon speeds so they could be swung at the same sped; ergo, imitated perhaps half the Kakama's speed, if that. I then put the game into slow motion. The result? Let's just say that I could easily shoot or kill with sword a half dozen enemies before they could: 1: block. 2: raise a weapon. 3: move more than a few inches.
I never thought I'd write this entry, I always thought I'd stay here forever, lost in this digital community.
Don't get me wrong, BZP is a wonderful place, and I've enjoyed my time here immensely. However it has been laced with bitterness. My love of this site, and my involvement in it, has proved to be a costly toll out of my life. BZPower, and the internet in general, has become a needless distraction from my actual life.
It is with great regret therefore, that I state this. I am leaving
My activity rates and productivity are, have been, and probably always will be, fluctuating like crazy. The reason is simple: i'm temperamental when it comes to computers. If you put me in front of a laptop, especially with one that has a keyboard I dislike, and a laptop that I'm used to being kicked (figuratively) off of, my productivity and relaxation will plummet. Outside things can also effect me, such as the amount of fighting in the house (If there is a large amount of conflict in the hous
And the problem is, I just had to invent the second word. You see, there are separate divisions. Bronies , male human beings who like MLP, and Bronatics, people of the same gender who are utterly obsessed with it. (Nothing against Bronatics, as the number of Bionatics is much higher on here.) So I, Zarayna, Declare the new term "Bronatics" to be fully Zarapproved! Now, for a terrible confession. I am a brony. I found MLP to be childish, amusing, and overall funny. I watched the Hallowe
So I finally decided to do a Les Mis name change. I first thought of Marius, switched momentarily to Enjolras, and finally decided on the bishop. But now: 1: Bishop Myriel. 2: Monseigneur Bienvenu 3: The Bishop of Digne I'm torn between these.
So, a lot of you probably remember War Zone. Well, coming this December, I present, BZPOWER (POWERED BY INVISION POWER BOARDS) In short 'War Zone 2'. It will have a very similar theme of disorder, but the backstory will be much different, and it will be a lot less sandbox. No, players cannot control a forum, seeing as about half will be anarchist wastelands and the rest will be already controlled by the remains of the staff. Anyone interested in this? I'm looking for people willin
With the fanatical bookworm impatience to read Catching Fire. XD Hopefully I can find it online with semicolons, colons, apostrophes, and quotation marks.
Don't you dare look out your window darling Everything's on fire The war outside our door keeps raging on It's almost shockingly how things one sees and analyzes as abstracts swiftly become deeply and personally integrated to the observer through surroundings of various sorts, and people in said surroundings. Stark contrasts frame the war you always knew existed... But now see on a more personal level.
Although I am of that strange group that actually liked A Thousand Suns, if Burn it Down is a good example of LP's new album, it will as good, and probably better than A Thousand Suns. It doesn't sound much like Hybred Theory or Meteora. I would say that it sounds quite similar to Minutes to Midnight, which is good, because I quite like that album.
Mandatory Kingdom of Heaven blog entry. THAT MOVIE IS SO EPIC. Like, even though the Templars were not shown in a very good light, and the only clergy you ever see are corrupt, it still was epic. For some reason Tiberias reminds me of my vocations director. :|
So a friend posted the lyrics of the aforementioned song online, and I got a nostalgia blast: specifically because it reminded me of a hauntingly amazing story I had read years ago: Tahu's Concrete Angel, by Saya. And now I don't have to warn of an archive link! It's really good to see improvements like this happening. But that aside, that story is epic. Just saying.
Your depiction of frost giants is completely despicable. In other words, I watched Avengers. It was okay. Not extremely good, but decent. I found that I could stand Tony Stark this time.
When you use an official character, yet you inevitably butcher their character for the simple reason that their character is utterly foriegn to you. I think I'm going to say 'screw this, I'm mutating this character's character.' Much easier.
825 years ago, Balian of Ibelin surrendered Jerusalem to Saladin, after threatening the Saracen ruler that he would burn Jerusalem were he not to offer terms. It's also the feast of the Guardian Angels, and my 17th birthday.
