Issues Resolved

After a week of of a fairly unstable and unreliable connection, I finally have a stable connection to the internet again. Kulta, Ekimu, and Okoto's History

A Mystery of the (HF) Universe

Why did the HF heroes have first names? Like 'WIlliam' and 'Preston' and 'Mark' and so on... what was the point? Other than for having Fire Lord scream 'PREEEEESTOOOONNN' a few times. It was pretty much dropped after the first half of 2011.   Could you imagine if the Toa were named stuff like 'David Pohatu', 'Johnathan Kopaka' and 'Chris Tahu'? It would be weird, and I find it weird in Hero Factory.

HERO Factory

I'm surprised the HF universe didn't end up in a situation where the HF went unchecked and starting producing increasingly dangerous and insane 'Heroes' who, instead of protecting, destroyed everything out of a misguided notion of being heroic due the fact that villains exist, and with some absolutely brilliant AI logic, that means existing must mean you are a villain. Obviously doesn't apply to heroes, of course, because heroes aren't villains.   Unless... every being we saw in HF was produced

Boxes and Thinking

Why do people say to think outside the box?   We weren't thinking inside boxes in the first place. We could try thinking in the material that separates the inside of the box from the outside of the box, though. Pohatu & Ketar

Acquired Pohatu + Ketar.   Let's start with Ketar.   Ketar is... Ketar. A bit awkward constructed, if anything. Especially compared to the other creatures. Its back does not look pretty, which is bad since that's what you see from the sides and from the top. I don't understand why the glatorian necks that hold the arms have the axles of the gear pieces poking out through them. Okoto thoughts

I'd like to think that some HF sets are among the wildlife of Okoto.   Thornraxx is a species of giant wasp inhabiting the jungle region. The stinger's red for a reason. It kills protectors. It is named so as it eats Thornax, which grow in the Stone and Jungle regions of Okoto.   Pyroxes (Pyroxi? Pyrox? Pyroxodes?) are a type of bovine animal that make their home in the Fire region. Ninjago

Those Ninjago sets look pretty good but I know next to nothing about the plot of Ninjago.   So here's my guess as to what the plot of Ninjago is, based on nothing but the sets:   2011: Ninjas start being trained by the old beard guy to defeat the evil skeletons, who threaten to destroy the ninjas for some reason. The Clown Rap

I once wrote a Clown rap in an attempt to make a rap worse than the Piraka rap.   it was about twice as nonsensical and much worse. I asked Portal.gif, and I recall he said I succeeded in making a pretty bad rap. 2001/2015: A question (Or two.)

If 2015 and 2001 were swapped around in terms of story but not sets, would the people that hate 2015 still hate it?   Just an honest question.   ...and for long-time fans of BIONICLE, from 2001 or so, how similar does 2015 BIONICLE feel to 2001-2003 BIONICLE so far?   Third and final question: where do you want G2 to go from where it currently is? I am going to guess that many people do not want it moving in the same direction G1 did in its later years.

Skull Basher

Its bashing function is a bit... wonky. Not as well done as Dragon Bolt's wings, which are done in a similar manner.   Not to mention the axes often collide with either each other or Skull Basher's horns quite a bit. It's not really a bashing function. More like 'Skull Clapper', if you ask me.   Still, Skull Basher pulls off transparent purple + solid purple + transparent orange + gunmetal really well. Purple goes surprisingly well with transparent orange - way better than most other colours IM

2017 predictions

The colour 'Red' ceases to exist as it is swallowed whole by the cannibalistic colour 'Gold'.   The Toa are in immense pain from having multiple surgeries to add and remove gears into their hips and backs, and from having their oddly transparent brainstalks exposed from behind.   Something gets horribly mutated by hordika venom/pit mutagen/desire for power/uncontrollable masks/plot device.   The Toa Mahri remain irrelevant, being G1 characters and thus having nothing to do with the G2 story.
