Only after I finally became accustomed to the default theme did the theme change back to a more classic feel. It's the story of my life, I guess. In all seriousness, I do like the more Bionicle-themed graphics. I'll probably post in the theme's talkback topic soon about some nitpicks, but I'm glad to see some change. This is my second try at making an RPG for the BZPower TBRPG contest. In my opinion it's faaaar better than my first try, but I'd still like some feedback.
I have only the first two chapters planned, but I have a bunch of homework to complete and the HF horror story to write. D: I have a feeling I'll end up flying my NaNoWriMo story by the seat of my pants. In my humble opinion, Brisingr, the third book of the Inheritence Cycle by Christopher Paolini, is the best yet in the series. I've heard criticisms that the book was far too long-winded and that all of its first part was nothing but filler; having read through the entire novel, I have to disagree. Prior to the last meeting, my gym class would focus on one sport or game for two classes and then switch to the next sport or game; today, however, was an odd day out, so the members of the gym class voted to play Ultimate Frisbee. For my literature class at a co-op I attend, my latest assignment was to write a short story that included both all the required vocabulary words and examples of metaphors, similies, and personification. The bad news -- yep, you guessed it -- is that I'm throwing in the towel. I guess the sky-high goal of fifty thousand words in thirty days was out of my grasp from the start. I was woefully unprepared, and my story caught itself in a tedious cul-de-sac of forcing myself to write words that aren't there. I was relying far too much on being able to write by the seat of my pants, and what's more, extend that writing into fifty thousand words; the result: overextension and a lot of filler text. Pe

My neighborhood, being a ways inland, avoided the destructive power Hurricane Sandy unleashed on the New Jersey shoreline. We only received moderate gusts and light rain throughout the night. Nevertheless, through standing outside a minute and sitting for far longer beside an open window, I could feel a difference in the winds; they were not the capricious breezes of springtime or autumn, but winds with a purpose. I won't be online for the entirety of both Christmas Eve and Christmas; I don't want the internet to get in the way of enjoying the holiday with my family, and I definitely don't want it keeping me from fooling around with my loot come Christmas day. Today, we celebrate its birthday by thoroughly abusing our anniversary Premier Membership privileges for the next week, especially when half of us should be doing real-life work. Probably over a year ago now, I was talking about releasing a solo instrumental album. While that plan hasn't yet come to fruition, a couple friends and I have completed a group album that I would like to share with you all. We've named our group Forward. The album is called Interminatis (pronounced "in-ter-min-ah-tee"), which is Latin for "endless". The setup is very nice, the challenges are inspiring while vague enough for different people to have different interpretations -- all in all, this deserves some more attention.
