So I was digging around online to figure out what Bionicle game I used to have on Game Boy. I had it a looooooooooong time ago, and lost it a loooooooong time ago. Eventually I determined this was the game of my youth. Anyone else remember this game? I seem to recall it being fun, but then again I enjoyed some pretty terrible games when I was 6
So...I guess Super Meat Boy has some sort of anniversary... And this warrants...a bunch of indie games I'm interested in goin on sale simeltaneously? Well, I'm not complaining. I'm only getting the Bit.Trip games/SMB/VVVVVV games since I'm not interested in the other ones. Plus there's a game or two in there my parents probably wouldn't let me have. i.e. Half-Life 2.
Does anyone have advice for solving word problems where you know how much more money two people need to buy something, and know that their money together can buy one of an item, but don't know the cost of the item? These ones always get me... Problem I'm dealing with at the moment: Kristin and her sister Alison both want to buy the same bicycle. Kristin needs $73 more to afford the bike and Allison needs $65 more. If they combine their money, they will have just enough to buy one bicycle tha
Since these have been all the rage for as long as I can remember. Ask away! No personal information questions, of course. And before you ask. NO I DO NOT DREAM ABOUT FARM ANIMALS Let's-a go!
Image linked due to being over 500kb.-Nukaya Seriously though, it's never fun to see a company go under. Hope anybody losing a job out of this ordeal gets along okay.
So I cracked and bought this game when a friend got it, so we could play together online. Here's roughly how my first visit to his village went: Me: Okay, I have oranges. You have peaches. Gimme. Friend: Hmm? Me: This is a hostile fruit raid. Hand over your peaches or I will be forced to whack your villagers with my bug net. Friend: Well okay, I was gonna give- Me: DON'T MAKE ME BRING INNOCENT CIVILIANS INTO THIS! And then I burst out laughing at the concept of a country/regime/cult somewher
Goldfinger. Is anybody surprised? Although I have to say, the trailer looks NOTHING like the movie. I mean, I know the movie is old, but did they have to be so over the top in updating it? Looks cool and all, but still... The maps look a bit more open though, which is hopefully going to reflect on multiplayer. I love Goldeneye's multiplayer, but I have to admit the maps are a bit cramped. Especually once you find all the secrets in them. But hey, game still looks pretty good. Thinking abo

Sorry this is late, but in my defense I got sick. So! Voting will commence approximately now and will end at approximately some time on Wednesday. The names are: -Bambi is cooler than Ddude -Vanilla Ddude Ice -I-I am N-n-not D-Ddude -Ddude the Steve? -Ddude is cooler than Bambi (just to even it out) And if anybody makes a suggestion that I like, it'll be added to the voting. Or if it's really good I'll just change it immediately So vote! Use this democratic opportunity! RAH RAH DEMOCRA
Finally the rest of the games got announced. December 16 in Japan, but hopefully we'll get them same day here. I've ranked them with my interest, 1 being highest, 10 lowest. I did pretty well on Airsoft yesterday. ...well, I didn't do THAT well, but I knew what I was doing at least. =P I must say though, snipers are hard to take out without grenades. =P
So first we were going to a 3:30. We had some lunch at a place right by the theater. We head over to the theater about 3:10, and there is a line STRETCHING THE THEATER to get in to out movie. When we finally get in we're four row back from the front, which my mom's neck can't handle. SOOOOO we leave and try go to get in line for the 4:00 showing. That one's sold out. We get out tickets redirected to the 6:15 showing. So we get some stuff done and then come back about 5:30 to be safe. There'
Is sooo much harder than 8th grade. D= Homeschooled 8th grade took me like maybe four hours to finish everything. In Homeschooled 9th grade, it take me 6 hours, minimum, and sometimes I'm not able to get everything done. Is there some magic pill I can take to fix this?
I'm doing Short Stories for my literature this year, and I have to say, "Unlighted Lamps" is probably the best thing I've read since Watership Down. Yes. The Watership Down. Apparently I'm a depressing person, because this is an incredibly depressing story, and I loved every minute of it. And not all stories have to have happy endings. Anyone else read this?
So I finish a pretty awesome Fire Temple in Skyward Sword, which ends with an intense boss fight. Then I go and do an even MORE intense boss fight. Then there's awesome sequence of plot-related cutscenes. Then there's a brief break, and another awesome boss fight. Then you go down and fight the more intense boss AGAIN. Then the game goes and tosses an incredible pointless fetch quest in your face. MIYAAAAMOTOOOOOOO
Okay, SS came yesterday. Was to busy playing to blog. Here's my thoughts so far.... Opening Sequence: Relative to past games, the opening tutorial in SS is pretty easy to swallow. None of that goat herding baloney or anything. I'm a little on the fence about the bird: I'm not sure how much I like the whole "islands scattered in the sky to visit" thing. It was surprisingly quick getting the Master Sword in the game, too. Oh, but...did they REALLY have to make Kaeora Gaebora a character
Well, one more day with a blog, so I might as well write this. Since I put that spoiler warning in the title, there will be NO HOLDS BARRED. No spoilers tags, no whited-out names. You asked for it. --- So overall, I think this game has the best bosses in the series. I really can only think of one particular fight in the game which disappointed me. If you've played the game, you can probably think of which one it is. What I liked about the fights in this game is that, for the most part, they
